I suppose it comes down to the choice of having a covered BJ, which I hate ... or as I said give up mongering and stick to non working gals.

Posts: 1807Osakagin, I'm curious. On a typical trip how many partners would perform BBBJ on you? And how many BBBJ's would you receive? I can't trace any STD back to a BBBJ, although the few times that I've gone off the wagon and done BBFS with hookers for an extended period of time (maybe two or three partners over a period of months) I've ended up with Chlamydia or NSU. I might have gotten something nasty in my prostate from the Eden Club, where a couple of hookers were swapping back and forth between licking my backside and my penis -- last time I'll let that happen. Since you asked, my opinion is that I'd switch to CBJ's if I were you. If you implement your plan with nonpros, I'd use condoms for intercourse -- I bet your chances of getting an STD from BBFS with nonpros in Thailand that you meet on websites are comparable or higher than getting an STD from a BBBJ with pros.

Posts: 31It really is a friend of mine. I have barebacked sex workers without bothering to get STD tests after :P.
Anyways, he got post-exposure HIV medicine for 5500 baht from the hospital. Has to take 2 pills for a month. Side effects are minimal, apparently just nightmares and depression.
This is why he wants to get the girl to take an STD test. If she doesn't have HIV then he can stop taking the medicine.
BTW. I did some research, and I found out that there's a different strain of HIV in Thailand. Barebacking sex workers has a risk as high as 1 in 300 of catching HIV.
The american HIV is more based on blood as in from gay / anal sex, which is why only 10% HIV+ in America is hetero. Here it's 80% HIV+ are hetero.
The infection rate from the HIV strain in America is 1 in 500-1000. Here it's 1 in 30-50. 2% thai are HIV+, but for sex workers it's 10% or more.
10% * 1 in 30 = 1 in 300.

Posts: 48My mongering days to end?
I am sorry I haven't reported on my recent trips to Thailand and the Philippines, my two preferred destinations for mongering in SE Aisa, but I felt I should share with you, what I regard is a very worrying trend that now appears to be occuring in P. 4 P. In these countries.
Like most of us on here, I have been a regular monger for well over 25 yrs and for the first 22-23 yrs, I can only recall 2-3 cases of me contracting a STD. However over the past 2-3 years I have picked a STD on 5 out of past 6 trips to Thailand and 2 out of the past 3 trips to the Philippines! The STD's have ranged from NSUI, to Chlamydia and in recent times the big G, Gonorrhea on 2 occasions.
I always use use a condom for vaginal sex but like many of us I prefer BBBJ. Hence more source of infection. In Thailand I have picked up girls from either the Nana carpark, on Sukhumviht Road. Near on Soi 5. 6, the old Nana disco, the Beer Garden, and Soi Cowboy etc. As the girls were from many different places I wasn't always sure where I picked up the infections from, although the freelancers on Sukhumvit were primary suspects in my mind!
On my most two recent trips to BKK I decided to ditch all of the above pick up places and stick to the massage parlour scene, mainly Mango and Pink Massage Parlours on Soi 24. However the same result occured with me contracting Chlamydia and Gonorrhea on two seperate occasions I have visited there. I do know the names of some of the girls involved but I don't feel I should name them on here. I was wondering how often are these girls tested and how stringent are the tests they take?
And of my recent two trips to the Philippines, namely Angeles City, I have also contracted NSUI and Gonorrhea again on two seperate trips, with the latter definitely coming from a shot girl I met in the Blue Nile.
Please tell me am I unlucky or maybe too careless or are there mongers out there having the same experiences as me? Without wanting to sound too melodramatic, I am thinking very seriously about putting the mongering cue in the rack, so to speak, and just concentrate on cultivating, meeting and dating non working gals I have meet on Tagged and like sites. True, nothing is a 100% safe but having sex with these gals can't possibly be as frustrating and dangerous as my recent experiences with working gals, and I am just so sick and tired of getting tested and spending a small fortune on doctors fees and antibotics.
Any opinions please?

Thanks a lot for your reply man!
Based on my further research I have found that Mango massage (soi 24) and Nataree massage (ratchadaphisek) don't have farang charges. Can you / some others on this forum confirm this. In case, I don't like Annies, I will try these places as well.

You go to the clinic and get yourself checked out. If you're fine then everything is good. If you got an STI then get it treated and live with the consequences. IF, and this is a big IF, you did catch something and IF it was this girl who gave it to you, having her at the clinic won't make a difference after the fact.

This is a risky hobby.
If you are going to run out, be worried, paranoid, and get and STD check everytime this happens, good for you. My suggestion though is to find another hobby.
