Not to put words in Maa Paa's mouth, but I believe what he is saying is that the food in Guliver's is small portions and high cost by Thai standards. I have not been there for a couple of years now, but that was my experience when I went there last around 2009.

A while ago I stayed for nearly 6 months in the area and spend a lot of time (afternoon, evening en late nights) in Gulliver's.

During playing pool you get the best oppertunity to talk to these girls (sometimes I had to invite them to play separate in the backside area).

Well, I was looking for a basic pub style meal as I was in a hurry that evening and for some reason I remember it like it was yesterday – a cheeseburger w / fries. The burger was thin, tasteless and cardboard-like with an unmelted slice of Kraft American cheese on a stale bun. I don't love fries but I did that night and I don't recall the presentation as that's not what I was there for.

I also recall that that night as most times I've stopped in, I seemed to spend more time glancing at the revolving car then the women. But hey, different strokes right...

BUT, what I do think is indisputable (and draws people in) is their location - must be one of the best in the Suk area!

This report is based on the four days I spent in Bangkok, one of my favourite Asian cities and not just for the red-light-delights.

This trip was in January 2010 but I reckon nothing much has changed since.

Eden Club

As I have been won't to do on the last x Number of trips to BKK, I started off with my Day One pilgrimage to Eden. What a huge disappointment It turned out to be, for two main reasons:

1. Marc was not there and another Frenchman was in charge. What an absolute ass. Whereas Marc has always been courteous and helpful the substitute was smug, self-important and too generous in his assessment of his own with. Soured the experience from the get-go.

2. The selection of girls was, in my view, at an all-time low. Really bottom-of-the-barrel quality.

Being a perverse sort of chap, I went ahead anyway and picked two girls from the left side. To be fair to them, they both tried very hard and performed the whole repertoire from rug-munching to fucking each other with strap-ons; BBBJ, CIM, COF, Anal; the works. I managed to come twice but I have to say I really didn't want to be there. Armed with Sir Insertalot's patient advice, I girded my loins and ventured forth on Day Two. Went straight to Shark Bar And the girls on show were truly superb. Bang on the money."N" was a lovely lovely girl. Eager and willing to please, very concerned that I was happy throughout. Slim, fair-complexioned, pretty face, nice legs.
