I landed in BKK over the weekend.

This trip was booked over 4 months back, So I had all the time to RTFF (Special Thanks to Zeyto, Thomas9, NewtonYork, Toppers) and also got onto TF to shortlist several FL's I would want to meet. I did not sign up a premium account, but you can send a message every 10 minutes with the free account. That is enough to get their Line ID and the conversations continue there. For anyone signing up new, there many freelancers here. The rates start from 1500 to 4000 for the high-end ones. If you find a profile, where there is nothing written, only has a single line with smiles, has no mention of serious relationship etc, that's what you are looking for. Also, the pictures of the girl sometimes give away if she is a FL or someone looking for LTR. I am from India and the cute, hot ones are more inclined on getting Caucasian men. But again, you have lot of options.

Be careful of the LB and Transgender here. Most of them still say they are 100% girl even when they don't look like one. My rule was to rule out anyone I have a slightest doubt on.

It is uniquely Asian logic, that when there are fewer customers, the price needs to go up.

And when some of the already decimated customers show up or close a deal, simply stay shut during the week.

The biz needs NOT to re-invent itself, but follow 101 market dynamics: more supply for less demand: price decreases.

The entire Asian sex industry will have to adapt; from massage parlors to gogo bars, from street hookers to datesite hoes, from freelancers to callgirls.

If they believe the good times are a'coming back and tourists will flood in and demand will surge, they're in for a nasty surprise: the economic crisis and inflation are only just starting to hit the West. This will become real ugly. Tourism will crater. This will not be confined to the West, but hit Korea, Japan and China. People will manage spending and traveling will take a big slump -and not for one season only!

If you're expecting a "Just the facts, Mam", Sgt Joe Friday style (MATURE Americans will understand the reference), a wham-bam-thank-you-mam FR, it won't be here. My style is a rambling, meandering route to the destination.

Then, bless his heart, he transfers the remaining all of 33 baht to the new card, having difficulties along the way, but he soldiers on. I feel sorry for him, it's only 33 baht, and I really feel sorry for the people in the queue behind me. Add 1000 baht to the card; the convenience is just too great. Now, down to Asoke. Start walking Sukhumvit, odd side, towards the lower soi's. On to ... a pharmacy (SouthEast pharmacy) on Sukhumvit between Soi 15-13, just a couple of shops down from Soi 15. Been shopping there for decades for all pharmaceuticals; now I need some yellow pills. Any pharmaceuticals I put in my body will come from a pharmacy, not street. More expensive, but, that way, if I explode, my next-of-kin can sue. Then ...Foodland, Soi 5, curious if they still carry a Bangkok Post newspaper (obviously dating myself). Seems they don't. Foodland has quality fresh food, meat, seafood, shellfish, plus other fixings, along with western food and, for me, western snacks and drinks. Have to stock the frig, but that will wait till later. Normally, I'd eat at the lunch counter, but I have places to go, things to do, so skip. Next stop in to the Beer Garden for old times sake, just for a look-see. There is one barmaid there that I've seen for a decade, cute, curious if she's survived the pandemic. I am FLOORED. 12:30, and the garden is empty, NO customers, 3 waitresses present. In years past, WHATEVER the hour, gents would be there for a drink or something to eat. Stunned; will have to go back later in the day and see what's what. At that early hour, with my stroll along Sukhumvit, any possible street walkers, well, I wouldn't do them with YOUR dick.

I'm thinking is this a tease: let the falang start to cross, gun the engines, and see how fast he can run? Maybe elder abuse has become a crime. So the sex industry should lower prices as much as possible as to attract more travellers and generate as much turnover as possible with those visiting. Instead their pricing turns everyone off and the word is "don't go; it's too expensive. ".

They can still get the word spread that it's cheap and hot in Asia. But time is not on their side!

The entire Asian sex industry will have to adapt; from massage parlors to gogo bars, from street hookers to datesite hoes, from freelancers to callgirls.

If they believe the good times are a'coming back and tourists will flood in and demand will surge, they're in for a nasty surprise: the economic crisis and inflation are only just starting to hit the West. This will become real ugly. Tourism will crater. This will not be confined to the West, but hit Korea, Japan and China. People will manage spending and traveling will take a big slump -and not for one season only!

So the sex industry should lower prices as much as possible as to attract more travellers and generate as much turnover as possible with those visiting. Instead their pricing turns everyone off and the word is "don't go; it's too expensive. ".

They can still get the word spread that it's cheap and hot in Asia. But time is not on their side!

Allow me to chime in. I have a Genius 3 category membership with Booking.com and just checked the Adelphi rates for December 3-4. The price was $87 with the genius discounts included. This price also includes taxes and fees. Booking provides you with greater discounts depending on how much you use their app so there is a genius 2 and 3 category. If you have never used Booking, then the rate would be higher with no discounts.

I have also been told the Booking.com buys rooms in blocks from hotels and sets the rate depending on demand. This is the reason you can no longer go in to a larger or mid sized hotel and negotiate the rates with the front desk. It's no longer there's to sell.
