Went out last night for a few bevvies on cowboy. Hit all the major spots. Shark was packed as usual. A girl I was keen on came up to me and started chatting. Thai is where I stay. Highly recomend. Great staff. Always check id cards. And call to check if your ok when they leave. More like 2 seconds to Nana Plaza.

Dynasty Inn is girl friendly but they do charge if you take two girls up to the room.

Unless you are Arab, African or Indian, don't stay at this hotel!! I don't want to sound Racist but as a White man, you will not be very welcome there.
I have been there many times and always got "looks" from these guys which I don't care, but it could scare a few people.

There are way Better hotels than the Grace... Solo hotel on Soi 2 for example, 5mn walk to Annies and they have a tuk tuk (free) that takes you to Sukhumvit

I dont think that Indian non- muslims stay, or would prefer to stay there!

A few years back, I heard a story that a psycho guy murdered a Thai WG in his bedroom one night and hid her and used the "do not disturb" sign. The girl did not pick her Id card in the morning, but no-one worried yet. The next night he got another girl and murdered her as well, so the story goes.
He then checked out, without bodies being found yet and got away.

I did stay there once (years ago) but Thai girls were certainly asking me why I stayed there???? Actually I can't remember why now. I guess places were booked heavy and Grace had a room available.

- On the first evening in Baccara I have chosen a SYT (she said she's 24). Could be max 40 kg (she was apologizing if she's too heavy sitting in my lap, good joke, my 12 y.o. son is heavier than that), thin, nice face, nonexistent breasts. She was one of the few dancing with some emotion, smiling, while the majority was like a crowd on the subway, getting to work bored She squeezed out 2 lady drinks of me, then I raised the question if she want to be taken. She immediately stated 2k ST. Sorry guys, I didn't bargain. Also following the advices here, I took her to the 7/11 and she politely chosen only a fruit juice only. Hotel staff didn't bat an eyelid, girl handed over her ID without questions. Service was very good, we took a bath together (what a difference to the soapie earlier!) and jumped to the bed. She wasn't too professional or practiced, but very enthusiastic. Once we're done, she said she'd like to stay, but she can't as she is having a job nighttime somewhere - I don't know if it's true or not, but as I had to work by the morning, I didn't care

- I went back to Baccara 2 days later, she literally jumped out of the stage and hugged me. I coughed up 2 drinks and the barfine and off we went. We had more time then, so after action we spent quite a time chatting. Her english was quite enough to discuss a few points I was very interested. She said she works only in Baccara and only on the ground floor ( I asked if she could choose, but she said no, pointing on her handful titties she's not big enough in chest for that . It was very funny when she said she wouldn't be too happy of it anyway, as 'they're showing everything to the customers without being paid for it'. I began to be sleepy and she again stated she cannot stay, but would come back by the morning... Sadly it was my last night and I had to be at the airport by 10AM, so I declined. She was crying a bit silently on my shoulder - I have to admit I'm not sure why and I didn't ask her either, thinking whatever is the reason, there's hardly anything I can do), then I had to promise 10x that if I ever get back to Bangkok I'll find her. I also declined to exchange phone or email - what's the point? She left with some last kisses and hugs and I left with fond memories - and empty balls

- There was a discussion earlier about racism in the bars: I personally witnessed being outside of Rainbow 4 for smoking, that 4 Middle-Eastern guy was sent away from there by the bouncers stating that the next bar on the right is better... They tried to stand ground, but without success. Caucasians meanwhile kept to be invited.

I had a very nice impression and intended to return if I'll be able to manage it Thanks again to all contributing forum members for their helpful advices!

After so many hours spent on this forum, finally I made my first trip to Bangkok. I'd like to thank you all who contributed so far, so I could pretty much impress my fellow colleagues, who could not believe it's not my first time there

A few impressions to share, maybe it'll be in use for someone.. This is all personal experience, so it might be completely wrong as well.

- I can just confirm that by the evening it's far better to get the BTS to the action rather than taxi; we had serious issues even to get a taxi to the action point from where we stood (Klongsan) - taxi drivers categorically refused to take us to anywhere in Suk

- I followed a previous advice to get Apcalis (pharmacy aside NEP after the petrol station) and it worked like charm. Original was 2k, generic 400. Noone asked for anything else than the banknotes As a remark, I saw at least 10 places on the street selling the same stuff, obviously I have no idea whether it's not fake

- We visited Annie's on Sunday afternoon, but the selection was very poor... Maybe 20 girls, none of them hitting the bottom line of being interesting. It was funny to see another monger guy, I had the impression that he didn't know any other place and was hesitant to leave without score, but saw none of them fancy enough Mamasan did her best to catch - ordered the girls to stand and rotate and convincing poor fellow to choose... and he just shake his head and kept looking around embarrassed. We just finished our beer and left for better fields.

- We visited Poseidon, with almost the same result and ended up at Lord. There was definitely a much smaller selection than usual (there was a real fishbowl of a side of a theater , but nice girls, exorbitant rates (from 2.6k until 5.x k if I remember well). We have chosen from the economy side, still pretty enough girls I think. The soapie was an interesting experience (being slowly massaged and bathed, with a very professional COB, then a short ride and I off I went). The girl has to be very good, usually I cannot be shot so quick, but otherwise rather mechanical and cold. Not my cup of tea.

- Spent a lot of time in Cowboy, visiting the bars which were recommended here. My personal favorite was Baccara, for the concept and the quality of girls (ground floor only, we didn't venture up to the second floor). There was one particular night, when we just could not find any of the bars interesting - I can't tell you whether our mood was different or all our kind of girls were already BFed. We had been in one with naked girls (Sheebas?), but the poor souls were so obviously embarrassed dancing naked that it spoiled the fun. The shows we have seen were quite freaky - balloons shot with darts(?) from their pussy and such - no, thanks for me.

- We have been in NEP just once, myself in two bars: Rainbow 4 (worth the effort, very good level) and Mandarin (this one was a failure for me, the concept is nice with the close proximity of the girls, but there was no one I found fancy enough to enjoy).

I normally don't contribute to anything but the photo section but feel compelled to comment.

The last time I was in the Grace Hotel (and it was a while ago), the place was a wild and wooly place. Sort of the like the bar in Star Wars 1. I was there with a bunch of buddies who had just come out of a war zone and we were having fun. We were in a booth and I sat on the back so I could see better. There were some ladies with us including a few US Marines who hadn't been shot at for days. A waiter came over and in the din of 120 decibels told me to sit down. I said if I did I couldn't see anything. At that point he drew a .38 revolver and pointed it at me. I sat down.

And that was before soi 3 became Little Arabia. So don't be too hard on the place. It was once recommended for officers and women during the days when it was an R&R hotel for GI's during the Vietnam war (one of four out of 52).

Don't how it is these days (it's been 5 years since I've last visited BKK), but I stayed at the Grace Hotel. Definitely guest friendly and 10 minute walk to the action (Nana?).

Was cheking out dynasty, I noticed it's cheaper. How big are the rooms. They have compact & standard which I was looking at. also I think maybe I want to go to pattaya also.

Nana Hotel is certainly guest friendly but it is also old and rather rundown. Majestic Suites is a newer hotel in about the same price range as Nana and in the same area (practically just across the street).
