I didn't know it was possible to cross Soi 21 through an underground passage. As far as I know the escalator down just after the exit from Asoke BTS station only leads to the MRT.
But I could be wrong. Where does this underground passage 'surface' on the Soi Cowboy side of Soi 21?

Yes, How did you think the people from Soi 21 entered the MRT? It's been there as long as the MRT has.

For the record, and Newbie's, Soi Cowboy runs between Soi 21, aka Soi Asoke, and Soi 23, PARALLEL to Sukhumvit. From Soi Asoke, it's on the far (increasing soi numbers) side of the Asoke BTS stop; crossing Asoke NOW made easy by the underground passage (escalator down) just after the exit from BTS. You should be on the left hand side of Sukhumvit when walking away from Nana (odd numbered side); that is, the Chase Bank side of the Sukhumvit / Asoke intersection. On Asoke, walk away from Chase Bank, past the Metro entrance, and the next alley to your right is Cowboy.

Before my trip, I had made a premium TF account and messaged a bunch of girls, getting some LINE ID's and tentatively scheduling some meetups.

After all this, I decided I had enough exploration, and then called up Thanida again to spend my remaining 2 days with her in LT sessions. We toured around the city and had the complete sweetheart GFE experience, which was a great way to end the trip.

I just saw your post and I have never had a good experience with a FL from Vietnam in Bangkok and several ones similar to yours. They all seem to want the money up front and then they are lousy in the sack, if you do or don't pay in advance, doesn't matter! I can't speak Vietnamese but I have gotten pretty good in identifying Viets from the get go. For one, they do not look like Thai girls in general and not at all like Laotians who tend to have much whiter skin. Also, they seem to hang out in Hilary on Soi 4 or in that general area. My recommendation is to avoid them at all costs.

It's an interesting conundrum.

As Viet girls I've sessioned in both Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and even Australia have generally been excellent.

But in Cambodia they have been atrocious and ones also to definitely avoid.

My thinking is that it's the "bad" Viet girls that end up as freelancers in Bangkok, or other parts of Thailand and Cambodia, are ones that can't get a gig elsewhere.

If they could they would be there as there would have to be more money than hustling on the streets in Bangkok competing with local Thai freelancers.

It's also interesting that they aren't a fixture of Pattaya at all, probably because the money is even lower than in Bangkok.

Now when I say bad, I mean bad as in playing games, theft etc. , or even adverse criminal or "medical" histories.

So my view is always to eat local, especially if it is street (walker) food I am eating.

The above could also be said about African, Burmese, Cambodian and Lao woman that you come across.

The difference with all of those tho is they don't have quite the same cultural mentality as the Viet's, which as a general rule is to scam.

Neither is wrong choice, it depends on You.

You seem to have a very loud and negative opinion on everything at Tim Timms.

It's not realistic to give prices as they vary greatly by the deals the customer can get and the time of year.

Just relax and go with the flow.

And BTW.

Adelphi Suites is currently 3400 baht or US $90 a night, not $140, at least that is my price on booking.com.

It's up there, as it is at a high season pricing right now, like all hotels.

In low season it was down around 1300-1500 baht, exceptional value.

It is recommended by me and others because even at 3000 plus baht a night it has great convenience, service, and facilities.

Girl friendly, great swimming pool, very comfortable beds and rooms, car parking (important to me) and a great location.

As to Red Planet if you want a broom closet go right ahead, 14 square meters at 1000 baht per night.

You can't even swing a cat in there.

At the 1000 baht price range.

There are much better more centrally located broom closet rooms.

Like Studio Nana iCheck Inn on Soi 11/1 also 14 sm in size.

And iCheck Inn Nana at 20 sm on Soi 7/1 at 1500 baht.

Even larger, older hotels like City Lodge Bangkok at 24 sm or Maxims Inn at 30 sm on Soi 9.

Was probably at farthest gate from immigration, seemed like a 15 min combination of walking / moving sidewalk or I am getting old LOL. Not counting this time. But only 2 persons in front of me at immigration, including picking up luggage -- fastest ever thru this portion at under 15 mins.

The only time I have been "robbed" by a hooker in my life was by a Viet girl working in front of the Nana Hotel. Pulling her pants down in front of the desk in the old Plaza short time hotel and watching my baht pour out of her panties was wonderful. But, no more Viets for me.

Adelphi Suites on Soi 8. 4 star and guest friendly.

And it's 5 min walk to Nana Plaza. And basically only a 30 sec walk to Lolitas (BJ bar), Kasalong (BJ bar) and Bamboo Massage (FS massage place).

I give a big affirmative in seconding Adelphi Suites on Soi 8.

Totally girl friendly.

It's my hotel of choice in Bangkok.
