On my visit to Bangkok last week, I decided to give Absolute Angels Bangkok (that rotating banner at the top of the Bangkok page) a try. Absolute Angels Bangkok is also known as Massage Republic, EscortsBKK and BKKMassage. Their prices are high (5,000) but the girls are gorgeous. Well, the photos are gorgeous. I arranged for one of their new girls that looked outstanding. Either the pictures were heavily photoshopped, or they were just of an historical nature. The girl that showed up was older and not as appealing as the photo. The session wasn't bad. I had planned on two other A-A-be girls for the following nights, but decided that I would scrap that plan entirely.

The next night I decided to check out Soi Cowboy. I had been to Nana last May and wasn't too impressed with the talent. This time I went to Baccarra on Cowboy. There were some girls dressed in black out front. I got a coke and sat on the street for a while watching the world go by and the ladyboys across the way attempting to corral every pedestrian that walked by.

The Baccarra waitress told me the price was 4,750.3,000 for the girl, and 1,750 for the two lady-drinks and bar-fine. None of the ladies were that great, so I went inside the go-go. It isn't like the go-gos I had been in before. There were 10 girls in skimpy dress on a center stage unenthusiastically gyrating to loud music with thumping bass. Every 10 minutes they would alternate with another group of 10.

Again, none were particularly appealing to me, so I decided to bag it for the night and headed out. As I walked up Sukhumvit I saw a scattering of freelancers as I neared Thermae. Since I knew there were some lady-boys mixed in and because I really didn't care to stand on a sidewalk and negotiate while families and pedestrians walked by, I decided to just go into Thermae my first visit.

Whew! It was a Saturday night and the selection reminded me of the old days in Changping! There were about 100 girls lining the walls and around the center bar. Nice looking girls! I scanned one side of the room as I headed to the toilet and then the other side on the way back out. I went to the bar and ordered a coke so I wouldn't seem like a piker. Then I made the rounds again. One tall beauty caught my eye and smiled. After making the circuit, I returned to her. She spoke just enough English to negotiate and accept my requirements and off we went.

She was 25 years old and we had an unrushed, outstanding session. She came 3 times, so that made it even better! For half what I would have paid at Baccarra for an older woman, I felt I got a pretty good deal.

The following night I headed to Thermae about 9:00. It was a Sunday night and there were fewer girls, but still more than enough to choose from. A girl from Udon Thani approached me. She checked all the boxes at a price of 2,500, so off we went. The experience wasn't quite as good as the previous night, but still well worth the cost. I think I learned it was better to do the approaching than to be the one who is approached.

May we know what your "requirements" and "boxes" were that those girls at Thermae agreed to and accepted upfront for 2,500 baht? And, of course, I assume they made good on those negotiated requirements in the room.

For me, there has never been a problem finding better than average looking Play-For-Pay girls in Thermae or getting quotes in that price range from them. The catch and deal-killer with better than average looking Thermae girls has always and only been based on what they are and are not willing to agree to upfront.

BTW: Does anyone remember the legit massage place in the hotel above the Thermae? On 3rd or 4th floor, you could take the hotel elevator. Nice establishment, legit massages. Or maybe I was naive; when she said finished and walked out, I got up and got dressed, rather than lying there as an indication of wanting extras. Only ONCE, in many, many years, did a girl offer, and that was mid-evening, not mid-afternoon. Became a sporting goods shop or maybe a gym. They did move to some crummy place on Soi 9 or 11, but nowhere near the original's ambiance.

Yes. I remember that massage place above the Thermae well. A good legit massage, but I never received even an offer of extras there, which surprised me at the time considering it's proximity to the Thermae. As hard as I try, I just can't recall the name of the place, although with my aged memory I think it might have been called The White House Massage or maybe The Marble House Massage or something similar.

Goatscrot corrected me several years ago, and, once again, I reverted to confused. It was Baron's, not Tulip, that had the rear entrance. After decades, the places merge together.

11 BRAVO also mentions Baron's in this more recent post. I was a regular there for a long time. A great place. It was a sad day indeed when they closed down.

FOR ME, it was neither, not GFE, not PSE, though between the two as extremes, I'd slide the pointer to the GFE side. I tried Doki-Doki twice (full disclosure, 3 years ago). First with Yuri (see FR). Fun, but not worth repeating with. I did go back again a week later and tried Happy. I wasn't. With her, it wasn't fun, just mechanical, following a script.

Thanks 11 Bravo, I'm glad it's helped. I'm almost at the end. 2 more reports and then some final thoughts. 19 days of hobbying in a month long trip. You know, sometimes when I think about it, how did I overlook Bangkok as much as I did? I spent a good number of years hobbying across Europe, and it's tough to beat a good blonde, but in the end Bangkok has it all. All the factors that make for a good trip converge in Thailand. It's affordable, safe, the food is great, the people are mostly friendly, with technology now it's never been easier to get around, etc. Depending on where you fuck in Europe, for the price of one chick there, you can fuck 3 in Bangkok. At least in Central Europe and Montreal a guy can fuck chicks for a reasonable rate, but it's still pricey compared to Thailand, and don't get me started on the sexual wasteland that's the American north east. I'm all in on Bangkok. I'm not keen on the whole being alive thing, but since I still am, and whatever time I have left, I hope I can come back to this amazing city. I get it now, like Neo from the Matrix, I see the code. I finally get what you guys have known all along, and why no one wants to leave. Man, if I had enough cash, I'd retire here.

Not only are they informative and accurate descriptions of the places you visited, plus the ladies you encountered, but they are also eloquent and honest accounts which are most useful for all those spending time in Bangkok. They are especially relevant for me; being of an advanced age myself, I could relate well to a lot of them. I look forward to further reports to come.

Thanks SiamMan, I'm glad these reports resonated with you and some of the forum members. I think it was a way to remind myself that it all happened after the fact. That I really did experience all that. A few not so good, and most pretty damn good. I'm glad I spent some time taking notes then to write these reports. But compared to the last time I was in Thailand, this was a whole different ball game. Years ago I had a less than stellar trip to Bangkok, and I asked myself, what went wrong? It was definitely me, I just didn't do Bangkok right. I said to myself that if ever the chance came, I would go back and 'do' Bangkok right. But all I ever did was hobby in Europe, thinking that Thailand*would always be there. Then the pandemic hit. And for 2 long painful years the dawning reality of not being able to go to Thailand hit me. Over the summer once Thailand removed all restrictions and slowly got squared away, I just had to do it, and I'm glad I did. For older hobbyists like me, and through all the crap I've experienced existing in this shitty world, life is way too short to not be doing what we want. Life, destiny, fate, god, buddha,*quetzalcoatl, zeus, jesus, whatever people want to call it, it's been really shitty to me, and my young adult life spent in South East Asia, not being there by choice, the resulting ptsd, it's all colored my world view a bit askew. But things have changed so much in*South East Asia, and with the power of the currency I carry with me, it's all so very good when I'm there. I want to go back. I get it now, I see now what everyone else sees, if ever the chance I'd retire in Thailand. *.
