Having come here for 14 years now and lived here for 5+, it is now clear that we farang are the luckiest guys on earth these thai girls will go with us for any "reasonable" price.

We, Farangs, are indeed very privileged here (I said the same thing earlier in this thread), but I think that what most mongers are paying nowadays in the tourist-oriented venues of Bangkok is NOT "reasonable". As explained earlier, they often pay more than 25% of the local average MONTHLY wages just for spending a couple of hours with a prostitute.

It seems to me that this would be the perfect venue (ISG) to create a thread dedicated to these Thai parlours and brothels where this information can be shared and reviews can be written (like the other farang oriented massage threads). Price for service should be included in every report so that we don't introduce price inflation...

That's exactly what several ISG members often do in various threads. Chinatown and Saphan Kwai (in Bangkok) for instance have been mentioned earlier in this thread by several ISG senior members, many reports of this kind are also available in the Isan section of this website, etc.

IMHO, it is not. I also live in Thailand (since year 2002), but upcountry and I consider myself a very privileged monger, and a lot more than most of the guys that are living in Bangkok. Don't get me wrong, I think that Bangkok is offering a wider choice and many things that are not available elsewhere in Thailand, but regarding our favorite hobby, I may spend some quality time with many more real cuties where I live at a much lower cost. " If that was adhered to by everyone, within 3 days of no business, the entire place would be booming with 1000 baht ST. Believe it or not, 1000 baht is still a LOT of money here. You can eat 30 times for that. But for a tourist here, it is peanuts, and of course the sight of a young hot thing will disrupt any kind of rational thought. I've had girls ask me why I can't pay them more, and have told them that I could pay them more, but that there was just no need to. And the very same girls will then say "kuhn roo maak" (you know too much), and then proceed to go home with me for 1000 baht, often repeating, often LT. But this is completely changing because they know they can get 2 or 3000 baht fairly easily if they look good or have a good line, there are plenty of guys happy to drop it. There are still many gems to be had and Thailand is still one of the better mongering spots on the planet, but the attitudes have changed drastically. It used to be that fairly large percentages of girls would go with you, never talk about money, of course they knew they would get some, and a good time was had by all, but I think that these days the whole how much, have to go back and get another guy, and just earn earn earn has become far more the norm, and it is supported by a huge number of guys just dropping lots of cash. Five years ago, even three, there were tons of freelancers that worked day jobs, whom, if a farang offered to take care of them, perhaps give 5-10, 000 baht a month, well, that was 7th heaven. These days, they see that all their friends are getting 20-30,000, even more, and they get this without ever having to work or do anything (other than shop for new sponsors in the meantime). And the ladies have become extremely adept at manipulating suckers.

I guess my beef along with the other "old timers" who have been posting here is that a lot of the fun seems to have gone out with the whole inflated pricing. Honestly, 3-4 years ago, I found it rare to ever be asked "how much you pay? " If the girl and I had rapport, we chatted, had some drinks, and off we went. The pay was 1000 baht, maybe 1500 at times, service was always good, the girl never complained or talked about the money, and it was also quite clear that it wasn't an issue, as she would repeat again and again if we'd had a good time. Good looking Thai girls don't need to work in a lower-end brothel.

Even in the cheapest brothels, you (usually) don't find girls with ugly stretch marks (most of them are younger on average than on the Farang-oriented P4P market), mothers and fatties are very uncommon there.

Of course, YMMV, but IMHO, there is a lot more cuties (on average) than unattractive girls in the Thai-oriented places.

Amjeck, Goyave, just to clarify, I was, talking about the Thai-staffed places, not the Lao-staffed places. There are still quite a few Thai-staffed places at the 500 baht level around the upcountry, particularly in provinces where the Lao are not allowed, but of course far fewer than in the past, and the quality there is mediocre (and service usually worse). The Lao-staffed ones are a special case, and I fear not long to be with us.

Precisely as Amjeck points out, Thai girls who are attractive can work at higher price levels than those at the low-end brothels, so quality there is mediocre. Still, no worse than in Pattaya or Sukhumvitt.
