the only word that describes sufficiently what's happening here in Bangkok is: Ridiculous!

Soldiers kill other soldiers, and the Government presents M79 grenades found in a car (later it was a motor bike) stopped at a checkpoint, combined with papers that indicate the origins, but the driver manages to run ... and even The Nation comments that this story "smells" ...

I think it should be quiet tonight (of course you never can be sure that the soldiers somewhere starts to shoot each other, or they all commit suicide or something like that ...).

Hopefully the Government accepts now its own inability to deal with this crisis, and steps down. And if not because of the demands of the red shirts - then because this Government has now proven to the world that it is simply incapable!

It's disgusting to watch all this. Unbelievable!

Yep, everyday watching the news in Pattaya. Nothing much happening here. Red shirts have a meeting point in the north of Pattaya near the back of Big C. Very close to Hollywood and Differ. It ramped up a bit during the weekend. Tonight nothing. I think even the TVs with the reds TV station blaring out had gone. But, police checks were close by and, didn't look like they were looking for guys not wearing crash helmets. Lets see what tomorrow brings?

It's between Soi 15 and Soi 17 if I am not wrong. In the basement of a run down Chinese Hotel. It's a bit difficult to find if you not know about it. But, have a look on working girls. They often stay outside for what reason ever, or have a meal at a food stall in front of Thermae. If you don't find, just ask one of the girls for direction.

Ruamchit Hotel. It has a big sign. Between there and the Asoke station, centering around the Robinson's, scads of open air freelancers every night after sundown. Maybe (maybe) marginally fresher than what's lower down Sukhumvit.

Close, but... Between Soi's 13 and 15. Ruamchitt Plaza. Look for a Sports Bar on the left hand side of the building, ground floor. On the right hand side is a money exchange and a red atm. Right below the money exchange is a staircase leading down - that's the entrance to Thermae.

It's past the construction site in front of the Ambassador hotel, and if you reach soi 15, you've gone too far.

@Somewhere15: To be honest I never took a SW from lower Sukhumvit. There are some OK looking ones, beside the many Ladyboys. If one is into African Queens, he can find there some.
