Day trip to Ayuthaya

I had the good fortune to hook up with a non-pro DIA lady who guided me on a day trip to Ayuthaya, the ancient Thai capitol 50 km north of BKK with some Ankor Wat like ruins. She was very cost conscious in the way we spent my money during the day. She has worked 6 days a week for the last 15 years as a cashier in a department store. She gets 10 days of holiday a year. This was a colorful trip because we went by bus and returned by train. Traveling with the locals was great and showed me a slice of life that I wold have otherwise missed. Admission to each Wat was about 40 for me and free for Thais.

She explained that she last visited Ayuthaya 10 years ago. This was a great adventure for her and an escape from her daily routine. She understands I'm not in the market for a wife, but wants to see me when I return to BKK in a few weeks. I'll probably see her.

Any time is good if you can afford it.

For the most part, the only black people they ever see are a few Nigerian drug dealers who creep around looking really sketchy. Dressing stylishly and acting very gentle and polite will obviously help you out here. Also, you will probably get better treatment if you're with a few white/asian people, as opposed to a group of young black men.

Thai people are very prejudiced against anyone with dark skin, which they associate with being poor, undesirable, etc., which is something you'll have to deal with. Many of them are very obsessed with being as white as possible.

A certain percentage of girls will not want to go with you. But others will have no problem or really want to. Even those that want to may worry about your size hurting them. Many Thai women really do have very small orifices.

There are short time rooms for rent in all the major areas if you need them. Not as much fun but it's doable.

In Thailand, there's some backlash against Africans and I think its got to do with the fact there's a heck of a lot of scammers and criminal types in that segment. As long as you dress smart and western style, on the conservative side, you should be ok. I visited some spots in BKK with my black stepdad, and he was plenty popular with the girls, no issues at all.

There's some who much prefer Bangkok (I assume we're talking "for girls" here) and others who swear by Pattaya. On a first visit, if long enough, and if that's mainly what you're after, might as well try both and see what floats your boat.

First time to Bossy Club (different than Boss Club) last night.

First of all, the Bossy Club is an after hours club. I arrived around 2:30 and it was packed but got more packed as the night wore on.

300 baht to get in and that included 1 drink. After I got it, I discovered that drinks cost 200 baht so that means that it really only cost 100 baht to get in.

The music, as you would expect, is that loud techno hip-hop music.

Most of the males were foreigners in the 20's to the low 30's. I'm considerably older so I really stuck out. That didn't bother the girls though because I got plenty of let's-go-fuck stares.

If you're looking for some white meat, you should check out this place. The few that I talked to were eastern European or Russian.

I was quoted 2,000 and 3,000 by two Thai girls. The white meat wanted 5,000.

There are some Thai girls that will not go with blacks, but if you're well-dressed, well-groomed and polite, the majority will be happy to go with you. I prefer Bangkok, because I like the big city. Others will tell you that Pattaya is cheaper and more laid back. I think Bangkok women are prettier even though more expensive. Pattaya is a beach town, so it's a very casual resort.

BKK 2 nighter.

Checked into the Ibis Nana, Soi 4. As previously described, clean, close to the Nana Plaza action, Nana BTS and good value.

Best city depends on what you like? So many variations.

I was going to Thailand for three years and thought I was in heaven. I like Bangkok, Pattaya, phuket and chaing mai. I like adventure in travel, the beach and of course number one is pussy.

Now I live in Philippines, Angeles City. Love it here. The girls come here from everywhere.

1. If you are under 35. I think you will love it. If you are an old fart (in my 50's) like me, it may not be for you.
