I will go to Thailand end of October, for a round-trip within the country. In BKK I want to pick up a travel-companion for my trip.
Is it a good idea simply to try the gogo bars or massage salons, or are there better alternatives, like escort service ?
Or better to try to find a companion in Pattaya ?

Some of the most fun I've had in Cowboy has been in Fanny's (went upstairs with a girl I'm still looking out for a year later) and Afterskool (once, the naughty boys' corner was occupied and I got jerked off on the seat facing the stage). Cowboy, really is for the tourist and they assume that when you walk in there you don't know any better and you'll pay a higher fee and some try to pull a bait and switch on you (agree to one thing then try another). YES I PULLED FROM COWBOY recently but it really is not filled with wild crazy girls.

Its not JUST for the tourist newbie. Experienced guys go there sometimes.

You gotta work hard and survey the entire place to find what you want and like. Before I found a real diamond in the rough from Dundee of all friggin places and I WOULD NEVER recommend anyone going there as it is a dive.

Its not hard work if you have plenty of free time available.

The only thing I can recommend is take a close look at pricing. I overpay as I expect multiple shots and really long time for me. But most girls will want 4 K and expect two pops and then leave or even have the nuts to ask for taxi money. That is the same price you get on Soi 33. They will want lady drinks that are about the size of shots (and the shots are usually watered down). They will push for dinner or this or that etc... In other words some girls you might hook up with will play the game and try to ring you out of a lot of extra baht.

Its a good idea to appear that have some experience to avoid ridiculous prices.

Almost always you will a hotter girl later, after you have already selected, unless you have arrived too late.

EDIT: recently we had four or five senior ISG members, I think most of us all had over 1,000 posts in thailand, we've known each other for years, we've all been to thailand probably over 30 trips each for most of us, we all have had long term GF's in thaialnd, and were sitting at Baccara. We all thought different girls were hot looking. We liked the looks of some of the same girls but we all found different girls that we liked most. So what one person reports does not mean it will suit you at all.

If we all liked the same girl, there would be big problems.

Hi guys, I have been reading all these reports in preparation for my first trip to Thailand. I have read about Jungle Jims, Toy Bar, Moonshine Join, Fannys here in the forum and they seem very interesting however do not have a location for them. I plan on visiting them when I am in Thailand. I have tried to do a search for them but did not find their location.

Can someone tell me if they are in Bangkok or Pattaya? Lastly, I would appreciate an address of these bars, are they close to each other? Thanks for any help.

Not sure about the others, but I pop into Moonshine Joint every trip.
For a first timer you will probably be swamped with girls straight away asking for drinks and giving you a shoulder massage for a drink, etc. Can be a hassle.
Thankfully, I dont get that attention anymore. I like it there for the selection of music....you can sit at the end of the bar by the computer and compile your own playlist.

I would assume that the girls would leave you alone after you purchase a LD drink for the girl that you like or do they still hassle you for drinks for the other ladies?

There's action to be had at the Rangsit Boxing Stadium at night ( the girls sit in front, you can do a drive by).

Also for those looking for info on the massage place. It is a little before the Stadium, next to the Nissan dealership. ( look for neon lights)

There is also action to be had west of Future Park a bit. You will see what looks like a restaurant with pictures of Asian girls in the front.

As far as your experience will go. I can not say, most of these girls are use to servicing Thai guys and rarely will you find one that can speak English. So if you know a little Thai that will help.

Andy, I would be very, very careful about pick-ups near the front of the stadium...which is actually the front of the disco (the stadium is way out back!). The "girls" are hanging in front of the kid's karate place....front of the disco. The only problem is that these "girls" are 90% of the time not girls....and 10% drug addicts just pushing a fast short time at the two hotels to the left and right.....to pay the drug dealer in the disco. I have a lot of experience in this zone, as I live 2 minutes away. There have been over 10 gun fights in this area in less than 4 months....all Thai involved. I disagree, this is not a good place to look for women.

I have been to the other places you mention.....I can speak fluent Thai now. They are Ok......but nothing special.....I have taken the van into Morchit many times to avoid these specific local places. I have not found any great quality yet....but glad you are happy here.

I am a first timer here. As I have never been BKK before and am going to BKK next month, I would like to look for girls few nights there. Thinking what would be a better place for me as a stranger to seek girls in BKK.

In Thailand they are not hungry for Baht, as in there very existance and whether they can eat or not does not depend on a desperate fuck with some monger.

The girls have a support network, top girls will to some extent help lower ones, they love being the "numero uno" and having a gang of girls to cater to her ego.

Therefore the girls are often very choosy about who they go with. Their status in eyes of the other girls in the bar will rise if they keep getting taken out by "handsum man" but will go down if they keep going with ugly geeks, overwight guys or 60+ year olds.

Therefore they are quite choosy about who they go with.

However they will also play against this, eg if "fat man" pays 4000 baht each time and can only fcuk for 5 minutes and is spent, she will defend going with him by telling all the other girls he is easy money and a really quick fcuk, so they will understand her choice. But its still not the same "points score" as if a "handsum man" takes her out.

So yes, often they will avoid eye contact, and this means they are not interested in you.

If the girl who has been avoiding eye contact with you all night suddenly near closing starts making eye contact DO NOT THINK you have become lucky, all it means is she is now desperate for cash and will take you as against nothing at all. It generally also means you will get a lousy fcuk as she really has no interest in you at all.

Why do the go-go girls do this? Why do they avoid eye-contact, etc. Aren't they there to meet a nice farang and earn some baht?

I know that the experience will be different for everyone but would like to check out all the famous places and other places highly recommend by guys here. This will give us a lot of places to check out and fun doing it.

Tansak KTV has given you some sound advice. It's good to have a plan – a general outline of places you want to check out and not miss. But when you hit the ground and start your exploits, things will happen – "best laid plans" and all that. At some point you will drop your plans and just wing it and that's when things will start to get really good. So loosen up. Go with the flow – don't get crazy and you will have a great time. BKK is amazing. The overall info you get on this forum is incredibly accurate. Use it! But as Tansak points out specific preferences vary. You got to go with what turns you on. For me, if this where my first time visit to BKK, I would check out a highly rated oily massage parlor like Angel Massage on my first afternoon in town. I would take my time and pick an attractive girl who smiles and gives me some eye contact. I would buy 90 minutes with her. That would insure 2 BBBJ and 2 CFS. The sex will vary from pretty good to hot damn! It depends on the girl. After a satisfying session I would give the girl a nice tip, go out and wander around Sukumvit. I would buy some t- shirts and have dinner. Around 8pm I would head over to Cowboy and check out 2 or 3 of the bars on your list. At some point I would probably stop by Baccara just to see what's going on. IMHO Baccara has a very good selection of pretty girls. (note: I am aware of the cons, but I still like Baccara anyway). After a 90 minute afternoon session I find that I am usually in the right frame of mind to enjoy Cowboy. I always go with the attitude that getting laid is strictly optional. I am there to have a few drinks and soak up the local color. With 2 wingmen by your side, I know you will have a great time! A bar girl has to be more than just hot to move me. She has to have the right attitude. Otherwise forgetaboutit. Keep on truckin'. It's all good.

Next day I do it all over again; in the morning tourist stuff, in the afternoon massage time (I might try a highly regarded soapy for a change), then fool around about town. After dinner I would go back to Cowboy, or Nana and check out some more bars (Rainbow 4 being another bar you guys should not miss (note; there are cons to this bar too but still worth a look see IMHO). If I hook up with a girl I really like, I give her my cell number and plan on having her visit my hotel room. If I don't meet a girl I want a 2nd round with that's cool too.

The point I am trying to make is that at the end of a BKK trip, it should end up being an exclusive trip tailored specifically to my preferences (your preferences) and conditioned by the random events that exclusively occur to me (you) while out and about.

Really... you are making a lot of plans and doing a lot of research but honestly you are depending too much on reports from others. I walked into some of the bars on Soi Cowboy and they were filled with ugly girls, or girls with attitudes, or young young girls who don't even look like they know how to screw properly, or girls that wanted too high a price etc....

last time i was in these locations they all had a "naughty-boy" corner. A place where you may obtain delights from your hostess just out of sight from the other patrons. Usually around the corner of the bar,you can still be seen, but the bar will hide the activity.
