I had the best of intentions for a threesome in Eden Club this afternoon. But by the time I walked 20 minutes from Giotto's at Soi 33 down to Soi 7 in the pre-storm humidity, I was drenched in sweat, and bushed. At least I sweated off my hangover from last night's misdaventures (more on that later).

Instead of Eden Club, I found myself in a health clinic near Soi 7, sweating away, and the happy shop assistant made me drink a bottle of ginseng - tasted bad, but it worked - pepped me up a bit. I actually popped into the clinic because I saw a sign saying 'HIV testing". I had a blood test (1,000Baht) went and did some shopping for the family, and went back 15 minutes later for the result. Next I went to my favorite eatery in BKK - the open-air seafood cafe in Soi 7 across from Biergarten. Had a plate of about 30 sweet small oysters on ice (I only ordered 12) and a delicious big steamed crab in soy sauce and garlic, and a large Singha beer. 800Baht all up.

Finally the storm came just as my food arrived - heavy rain pissing down hard on the iron roof, thunder and lightening cracking away while I ate seafood and drank a cold Singha in the open balmy air and watched pretty girls scurrying around in the rain. Ah, life is good.

Then I headed across the street to Biergarten - only about 10 girls - one supercutie smiled at me, but I was still a bit under the weather and sweating, so I knew I couldn't give her the sex she deserved. So I hopped in a tuk-tuk to get back to Giottos for a rest and a shower. Last night GoodEnough, my work pal and I had a bite to eat in the Sports Bar at Giotto's/Livingstones Lodge, then headed out on the town round 11pm. Business is definitely down. We started at Nana Plaza and checked a few of the clubs. Lots of girls, not many guys. Good for us, bad for business. The background:
Went to a new dance club, Funky Villa which is located next to Muse on Ekkamai 5 or Thonglor 10 (It is the same road with two road names). The dance club is very crowded at weekends. They have PR girls who will try to persuade you to open Johnies (whichever label) where theyr get a THB200 commission per bottle. The PRs are quite pretty with one particular SYT which caught my eye.

Bought 2 bottles as I had some friends visiting town and we had a great time with the live band playing in the background. The 2 PR girls drank with us most of the night as company.
