After hour bars
Sweetlemon, You can always find some actions after 2am in some of the after hour bars along Prasamit rd right next to Soi Cowboy. Most of these bars normally do not show themself until you walk right up to them. They are among the street food vendor places after you exit Cow Boy and head back toward Suk. Most of these are quite friendly as they count on repeat customers for most of their business. They also have short time rooms upstair should you want a quick release after the long flight.

03-11-09 04:32 #5447Having just returned from both, here is my opinion, prefaced with the statement that most of my time was spent in the Nana area of BKK and the Geylang area of Singapore. Singapore is like a buffet, BKK is like a sit down dinner, you have variety in Singapore, but with the street girls of Geylang at least, the decision has to be made as you are walking along the "counter" with a crowd in front and behind. The price is higher, and the time is usually shorter. In Bangkok, you have time to sit down, peruse the menu, and really get to know someone before you take her home. Different venues (OT in Singapore for example) would probably lead to different experiences. Having said all that, and if this is your first time, why not try both, like I did. Airfare between Singapore and Bangkok can be fairly cheap.

Standards can be very high is Singapore, many of the Chinese girls that I saw in Geylang on my last trip, were definite 9 or 10's. Unfortunately such quality comes at a price and LT rates are 3 to 5 times what it would cost you in Bangkok. The quality of service does not always measure up either and if you are looking for a GFE, you might be better served going to Bangkok. Originally Posted by Fun Filled

I have a quick questions gents, what time do the bars close in Nana Plaza, Cowboy, Patpong, etc.? Getting in at about 1:30 am and wanted to know if there would be time to head out. Can't seem to find a straight answer, some sites say 1:00 am, others 2:00am and others that they stay open "late" (which to me would mean 4 or 5) but maybe late means something else in Thailand.

On the downside: Singapore is more expensive than Bangkok and you have to know your way there. However there is more choice with respect to the ethnicity of the gals: Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Pinays, Thais and Indian to a lesser extent. Folks,
I am in BKK right now-unfortunately this time wifey is with me, so I am looking for some ST action in the morning. Any fellow mongerer knows a decent place except Beer Garden in Sukhumvit Soi 7, the freelancers on Sukhumvit near Nana or the pathetic Patpong joints open early?
I do have my places at night, but regrettably they're off limits right now (sigh).
I've heard that there are some brothels in Chinatown - someone knows anything about that ?
Any advice off the beaten "Stickman/**************" paths truly appreciated :-)

Two weeks ago I was hanging all night drinking with a guy that was working in SIN for a long time, I have to be in SIN within a few month and asked him the same question, easy answer, he comes over to BK every two weeks for a long weekend and this will cost him less than staying in SIN with a lot more fun and nightlife possibility’s.
The high end in SIN will be mainly Russians but Thai high end girls are much more fun to play with but you can’t compare apples with oranges as EEU is a completely different mentality than Asia or Thai.
