I don't think that most people are primarily attracted to their own kind. I rather would guess that most people are attracted to what is seldom, eg. what has a high status.
The mayority of Indians and Arabs pay by far higher prices for white chicks, than for Asian or black ones. That might be because they have a higher status.
I like for example Arab girls, with black hair, wide hips and small waists. Other men go more for Asian girls, mostly those who like the petit type more than the feminine type.

I do not see why people think you get any less for negotiating, the standard rates are the standard rates and they are selling sex.
