originally manufactured by the nazis to help keep their troops awake for days, yaba has become increasingly popular in the far east amongst claims that the drug is now bigger than heroin in thailand.

yaba is a derivative of synthetic amphetamines such as speed and can be manufactured far more quickly and easily than traditional forms of amphetamine. the recipe has spread from the far east by word of mouth and on the internet (no, don't ask us).

we've experienced some difficulty getting a consistent description of ingredients and effects, with some reports stating that the drug is mostly methamphetamine, running 80% pure with much of the cut being castoff from heroin production

the drug usually comes in pill form (often red/orange, sometimes green) and with its potent mix of visuals and intense highs, drug experts predict that it may soon become popular on the uk club scene.

although yaba is still very rare in the uk, drug experts report that the uk is being targeted by yaba producers from the 'golden triangle' - the drug producing areas which straddle the borders of thailand, burma and laos.

the main ingredients, which include salt, household cleaning products, distilled cold medicines and lithium from camera batteries, can be bought legally and the drug easily knocked out at home with a couple of casserole dishes and a hob.

the rewards for criminals can be huge. around £300 of raw materials can make yaba worth more than £2,000 at british street prices. since the equipment needed is portable, labs can be moved on a regular basis, making it more difficult for police to track them down.

side effects:
the drug is claimed to create an intense hallucinogenic effect and can keep users awake for days on end, although some users have reported that the only visuals come as a result of sleep deprivation after binge sessions.

health risks:
addictive and/or habit-forming. regular use of the drug has been linked to lung and kidney disorders, hallucinations and paranoia. a frequent hallucination is 'speed bugs' or crank bugs' where users believe that bugs are crawling under their skin and go loopy trying to get them out. in thailand, the number of students entering rehab to deal with yaba addiction has risen by nearly 1,000% in the past two years (source: observer 17.10.99) those coming off the drug are also susceptible to severe depression and suicidal urges.

if i can recommend: stay away for your healths sake and also to not get into trouble with law about that in thailand. there is no fun made about drugs!

and just look at some of the girls if you want toi see how it works, then maybe you dont want to try anymore anyway.

There isn't one. The Strip @ Patpong II is not doing well at all for a reason: No one here wants this style of bars.

While it can be very exciting and fun in the US/Canada, Strip clubs are boring here because of the huge variety of bars that are Raunchier. The Quasi-totality (I am talking 99%) of the sex tourists come to BKK on a full blown sex vacation, they don't want what they alreadyhave back home.

Blowjob bars, Gogo bars, Freelancer bars, MAssage PArlors, Oily joints, 2-girls special clubs, ladyboys, gays, Akasuri ... we got it all.

I think you would have a much better (and cheaper) experience with a girl from a GOGO, barfine her, take her to your room for an All nighter and tell her you want her to give you Lapdances. If you feel like it you can fuck her.

Well obviously you are an exception, but once I tried German FKKs where girls are virtually nude all the time, I was completely cured of tabletop/lapdance style clubs. They are just ways of wasting a large amount of money without getting much, IMHO.

Was in Spasso (Grand Hyatt Erawan) last night and saw some really nice stunners, which I know even Mick Licker will approve. They were sexy, good cleavage and even better dancers.

checked out that soi for the first time a couple of nights ago.

we were generally disappointed with the quality in all the dead poet bars as well as the office and lookie lookie. also, the area was quite dead with 0-2 customers in most of those bars.

the most lively place by far was the bar at livingstone's lodge. it was a very nice environment with a good number of girls and customers. my friend found someone to his taste (but didn't take out) while i did not. even so, the conversations and environment made this a worthwhile stop.

we talked with the "famous" giotto at livingstone's and here's an important plus for internet users such as the ones on this site: he pays extra for a good quality, high speed internet connection. considering the inconsistent performance i have experienced with the connections at 2 hotels that is definitely a big selling point for me when considering where to stay on my next visit.

Well, I am not sure why it went so bad with joy, but it could be the following scenario.
A former coustomer of Joy asked a mamasan who Joy is and that he wants to bf her. So, she sends a girl over (the cousin, or maybe not cousine) to tell her to come over to midnight. So, the "cousin" brought her over and later they tell you ridiculous prices, so they don't need to tell you no Joy is already book.
