Bar fine THB 3000 - that was either a misunderstanding with the cousin, and she already included the "service fee", or they really tried to rip you off.

Bar fine in Soi Cowboy should be THB 600, and the rest is a deal between you and the girl.

THB 200 for a lady drink also seams to be a lot ... I heard now that most of the gogo's in nana charge THB 140 for a Heineken. Soi 33 now seams to be cheaper than those areas (except the bar fines).

checked out that soi for the first time a couple of nights ago.

we were generally disappointed with the quality in all the dead poet bars as well as the office and lookie lookie. also, the area was quite dead with 0-2 customers in most of those bars.

the most lively place by far was the bar at livingstone's lodge. it was a very nice environment with a good number of girls and customers. my friend found someone to his taste (but didn't take out) while i did not. even so, the conversations and environment made this a worthwhile stop.

we talked with the "famous" giotto at livingstone's and here's an important plus for internet users such as the ones on this site: he pays extra for a good quality, high speed internet connection. considering the inconsistent performance i have experienced with the connections at 2 hotels that is definitely a big selling point for me when considering where to stay on my next visit.

A couple of nights ago I saw a girl I liked in Our Place but she was bar fined before I could talk to her. Last night I saw her again and brought her over for a drink. Her name is Joy. In Midnight I bought them their shots (again 200 baht each) and Joy almost immediately asked if she could "say hello to a friend". That friend was a guy and shortly after talking to him I saw that he bought her a drink. She then sat with him. After about 5 minutes I told the cousin who was still with me that I wasn't happy and if Joy wanted me to bar fine her and take her to my hotel that she had better come back and spend time with me. Why settle for a girl from Nana parking lot when you can have an absolute non P4P "knock out" that took time and effort to cultivate. I agree that it is very easy to score with money but I am not interested in building any relationship with any woman.

that's rather strange then, because a good mate of mine has been shagging a cowboy dancer for free for ages now. If she doesn't have customers she stays with him, and believe me, no money changes hands. Recently went to PPII to check out a few places that I have never been to before. One of them a friend of mine had mentioned. The place was called "The Strip". It is located on the right hand side of Patpong II as you enter from Silom Rd. Its between the Barbar Club (BDSM) and Club Electric Blue.

This is a go-go type place but with a different approach/twist. As you walk in the first thing you notice are these very tall floor to ceiling silver cylinders to the left and right. Looks a bit space age. In the middle is a small dance platform with 4-5 ladies dancing and trying their hardest to attract you.

The cylinders are essentially private (circular) rooms for lap-dancing or whatever goes. At the end of the bar is where the actual bar to sit is located. The deal here is that you select a lady or two and go private. The fee system is as follows:

Private room 30 mins: 500 baht - includes nude dancing / touching
Additional Lady fee: 500 baht more for hj/bj (if you want it - not required)
Full sex: up to you and her. I was quoted 2000 bht by one girl.
Beer: 120 baht

Once you enter the room the lady will go and get a "sex kit" that is a basket of paper towels, oil etc. She will quickly strip and the show is on. I have taken two girls and both were very energetic and quite a pleasure to play with. Both provided hj and one provided hj/bj for the 500 baht extra. Both allowed me DATY which was very pleasurable for both they and I - judging by their reaction and extreme wetness!

All in all it is a tad expensive but a different way to have fun in BKK. I will go back (one girl in particular who offered take out with anal on the menu).

Ok I am a tourist and therefore some idiot in your mind and may not know the history of P4P price levels.

But reading most of the posts and successful and enjoyable reports probably you may need to adjust your price level from some glory days in the past.

A good looking 'cowboy' girl may never go with less then 2000, but settlement from a 3000 quote to a 2500 and then sometimes 2000 is always possible.

Your negotiation style may be a bit impolite as I assume, reading that the girls even refuse to negotiate the price. This never happens to me, however I am also polite in negotiating and fighting too much just throwing numbers around will not increase later performance. There is an intelligent way of negotiating w/o hurting each other.

If you counter her 3000 offer with: '1500 and no baht more or fuck yourself' she will know that you may be one of the troublesome cheep charlies anyhow and isn't interested even if it hurts her income.

The wording of your post says a lot about your attitude towards the Thai Females. And it obviously doesn't pay off. For your 1500 you may occasionally get, a girl, but all she does is trying to escape asap after the deed.

My Soi Cowboy girls I settled with mostly around 2500 and sometimes 2000 have more been begging to stay longer then escape early and some wouldn't have left at all if the next shift wouldn't have come up.

But I am a nice guy and also nice to the girls.

In your opinion I may have paid 1000 too much, but I may have got more in return then the additional 1000 bucks I spent.

Who the hell is paying these prices? Idiot tourists, I guess. I live here, and I refuse to pay more than 1,000 for ST, maybe 1500 if she’s really hot. But I’ve negotiated 1500 for LT in the go-go bars of Soi Cowboy before. However, this time of year it just doesn’t seem possible; the majority of these girls just refuse to negotiate. In Patpong 2 there is a bar called The Strip. I think it comes close to what u are looking for. There are girls dancing on the floor AND there are (small) cubicles. You pay 500 or something then you can go with the gal of your choice into a cubicle and what you do there is up 2 u and her.

In the Japanese clubs u can get a private champagne-room and much more. But only Japanese men are allowed (in general).
