I have had to remind them on occasions.

In Lisbon, I had already asked the taxi price at the airport, so I refused to pay him any more than 10 Euros (or 15 I forget) since he had not reset the meter and was already up to many Euros at the airport exit road.

Last year it was around 200 every time for a half hour trip. Then you are supposed to add I think 50 according to a slip given for metered taxis at the international airport. Tip extra.

Because these taxis offered no seat belt and drove like maniacs in cars of sometimes questionable condition, I have resorted to taking hotel and airport limos for 500 all included.

This is a quick report of 2 quick layovers in BKK. It’s been a while since I got to play here so my objective was to pack as much mongering as possible then limp onto the plane.
