Terry Terrier,
This one is for you, a first time visitor of Bangkok writes a report:

Ralph Kramden, Daddy07, Hunterg,
Thanks for your support and friendly words, especially because [hopefully] nobody will expect you to be part of the [suspicious] bestards club of Livingstone's Lodge.
And now: We had the "Old Thai Hand in his [Thai] Midlife Crisis" story here, and afterwards the "Giotto learns how to run a Hotel" report series. Enough now, this is the Bangkok Reports thread, lets return to the subject.
If somebody still needs to kick my arse he is welcome to do that in the "Giotto's Lodge in Bangkok" thread.

PS: Top of the raining season here in Bangkok, heavy downpour today!

In my humble opinion anyone who tries to take on Giotto on this forum has some lightening up to do. I met him one time and he is a genuinely nice person.
Who cares if his business was down and he devised a workable marketing plan to bring it up. All power to him. Anyone who has a problem with that strategy should stay out of business. And besides, he is one of the best posters at the ISG.

From what I've heard - but don't really know - those who know ASL can communicate to some degree with the Bangkok stall vendors.

She is also a very proud lady and in the past, would not accept any p4p money from me.
Ofcourse, in the end, she isn't doing too badly with me, given all the presents, small jewelry, clothes and shopping sprees, but it is allways at my initiative and not her asking. I tend to be fairly generous....
That is why I don't want to discuss her lost income compensation in terms of her earnings with her, but rather get a fair estimate myself and "surprise" her with some "spending money" for the trip.
It's a matter of saving face.
I am fairly certain, that she does not solicit or offer sexual favors to her massage customers.
I have actually had a couple of people check her out and I feel deeply ashamed for it.
The feedback I got, was, that in both cases she politely declined the advances and quite generous offers, saying she already had a boyfriend, "an older gentleman in Germany".
I have no intention of marrying her, or even premanently live in Thailad with her, and made that bluntly clear.
I have no illusions, that when we split up, or maybe even before, she will most likely slide into prostitution, given the few alternatives the environment she lives in offers. That is why I helped her set up her own massage shop, so that she does have that alternative.
I think she is worth it.
And if she wants/needs a good screw while I am far away, why not?
I shall spend at least a week in BKK, chasing Tulip, Akane and Angel girls, and not to forget High Priestess Rin, whom she knows and from whom she has once received a memorable massage lesson, before I join my little TGF in Chiang Mai.
So while I appreciate your generous, totally selfless offer to "check it out", thanks, but no thanks, no need, and besides, I prefer to do that myself.
Topic closed, as far as I am concerned!

One of the reasons I'm on ISG is Jackson's posting guidelines on proper use of grammer. (In comparison to other competing forums and boards.)
I couldn't stand to read some of the messages by the younger generations. Is that how their minds work? Didn't they learn anything in school?
Anyway, it's bad enough that we already have language barriers when attempting to reach the fruit of pleasure. It gets more complicated when the native nubiles start to mix the SMS jargons into their language.
Luckily, I can still rely on hand signals and body language to communicate my intentions of mating with my object of desire. What will I do when I'm too old and become invalid... Maybe by then they will have a mind scanner to relay my choices.
Sidenote, since this is BKK Thread: has anyone know or learn the sign language being used by the deaf/mute streetstall vendors on Sukhumvit?

Shit! I'll have to try harder to [CodeWord140] off more people.

I find it interesting that obviously nobody really got the joke behind the "OTH in Thailand" offer: Threads named "xxxx in COUNTRY" are sometimes created by Jackson to isolate certain posters... it is not really an honour and also does indicate some "personal integrity", which btw. OTH surely has...I would never create such a thread for him.
OTH, my apologies if this was misunderstood.
Terry Terrier, go ahead with your "crusade" against the misuse/spam of an internet forum (ISG) by a business owner (me) - everybody here knows who I am and what business I am running, and everybody can benefit from the ISG promotion if he wants - and still everybody can disagree with me. I don't really see where the problem is.
