well, lbm finally arrived back home the other day. arrived at 11:05am in the gate and since i was near the front i was able to get out quick. did my quick walk to immigration and had my bags and was in taxi by 11:30am to hotel nana which i arrived a little after noon. (damage 350 baht with toll and tip)
checked into hotel, quick shower and was out the door to do some business across town by 12:45. the location i was seeking took me much longer than i anticipated and ended up walking in the hot sun for a few miles. that really kick my ass!

after the business, took a motorbike taxi back to the nana area, got my usual haircut on sukhumvit near soi 7, call august salon and i have to say this time there were lots of great looking girls inside! being a leg man i couldn't keep my eyes off the girls walking back and forth. thereafter went to sanzuka to relax. selected tomo which i had nearly a year ago, she did a great job of washing and cleaning me up from my long trip. i have to say she gives a great shampoo to the head. better than paying for it at august salon. back upstair she gave me a great hot towel treatment and a light oil massage. when it was time for the happy ending this time i wanted to know if the place does offer fs, and althought i didn't partake, certainly if the price is right she would have given it up! several times she quoted me " big money " as i finger her and removed her bra! in the end i got a bjcim.

Recently divorced, and also dumped at the same time by married Filipina mistress who caused the divorce in the first place, and can't stand the thought of spending the Christmas/New Years holidays here in the USA Alone. Thinking of flying out on Christmas Day to either BKK or MNL for a 3 week holiday. Never been to LOS during the Christmas holidays (last visits were 03-04 and 01-05). Is this a bad time to visit BKK and/otr Pattaya? Is the selction of ladies much less than usual? Given that LOS is not a Christian nation, per se, I would hope that it wouldn't make as much difference as in the Phils. Anyone been to BKK or Pattaya during this time period? What was your experience like? Harder than usual to find good talent?

Another idea might be Muslim Indonesia.

I have spent probably 7 Xmas/NewYears in Thailand and it is a blast. I usually spend it in Phuket (was there during Tsunami at Xmas 2004!) but Pattaya is just as good. Bangkok will probably be ok also.

But I think that in your situation, the trip would be welcome. Prices are not that high if you read the forum properly and know where to go, if you boof your hotel room in advance the price will be cheap.

It is a bad time to visit LOS. It's the peak of the high season, with many hotels full of European families on holiday. Even the straight-up monger hotels are at capacity thanks to the long vacation breaks possible for many Europeans by stringing together public holidays and whatever vacation days they have left over for the year. A lot of these guys are young, in LOS for the first time, drink too much and can easily cause trouble.

So expect to pay the highest prices of the year for hotels. The girls will also be charging peak prices because of high demand for their services. No problem in finding girls, you just have to pay more because there's more competition for the cuties.

I understand you not wanting to spend the Christmas season alone, but just about any holiday destination in Asia will be as bad around Christmas/NY. It's not that you'll have a bad time, but you have to pay more for a good time, no matter where. Religion doesn't have too much to do with it - it's simply the economics of high season and peak demand.

Actually, PI after Christmas can be a good time because all the girls are broke. But indeed, most will go home to their villages for the holidays, so the trick is to catch them on their return.

I had the same impression when I came to Asia 10 years ago. There is this group of internationally working professionals. You find them in Orchard Towers in Singapore, Wanchai bars in Hongkong, Banana/Tiger in Phuket and Spasso / CM2 etc. in Bangkok. Some stunners amongst them, good English, and some of them really understand the business and deliver good service to attract customers to return. Some. Very few.

To expect from them services which can be compared to the service level Eden provides - hmm. May be 1 out of 100 . Moneywise - they are expensive! Usually you cannot find those stunners in massage places, and you cannot expect services you can receive in massage places from those stunners. Of course there are some exceptions.

Today I know that you can find the stunners her in Bangkok, in various places, most likely NOT in massage parlours. Some of the work in Japanese Karaokes, because the Japanese customers pay well. Then the high-end mens clubs (Pegasus etc.). Some freelance in the mentioned high-end discos. And you find some stunners in the hostess bars of Soi 33.

I am suprised that no one mentioned about the Siam Coffee Shop, at Siam hotel. This is thai place and my exp. , over years the girls beat the NEP, SCB or PP hand down. Thai customs are different to western countries. Picking the nose is not considered quite as badly in Thailand. However blowing the nose in public is considered much worse if it makes a disgusting noise.

You are conditioning to find nose picking bad, but not everyone is.
I am more turned off more by finger up the bum then by finger up the nose.

The Thais (and myself) find the stench of bad body odour very hard to deal with.
What I am saying really is that different people and different cultures are irritated by different things.
