There is not really a just legal system in Thailand, a foreigner will almost always be put in a bad situation when there is any altercation with a local Thai person. Particulary of that person is well connected with the local police, as are all of those bars.

The Asoke end looked pretty dark but several bars right at Soi 23 were open at 7:30 on Saturday night, but of course no dancing. Baccara, Cozy something, basically both sides of the soi but only the first couple. Something was open maybe a quarter of the way in on the left but I got interested in Baccara and was lazy so I stopped. Certainly not their best girls but I saw one or two that were bar fine worthy, but sadly they were both engaged and in fact one was whisked away by some lucky bastard. Not sure of the other bars but Baccara is open inside, not just an outdoor bar. I agree with this assumption in that who knows where the local vendors get their products so I buy from a pharmacy.

Just go into any non brand, little indepent Pharmacy around the lower sukhumwit area or in fact any area that there are some adult clubs. I personally use the tiny almost hidden away Pharmacy almost on the corner of soi 4, that is you get off Nana Bts walk down the even soi side of Sukhumwit and it is about 20 meters before you get to soi 4. Don't be afraid to ask for it by name, they are not shy and are very eager to sell you as much as you can carry away. I have never heard of any Pharmacy asking for a prescription for dick pills. Avoid Boots, Watsons etc. The big chain pharmacy's as every time I have asked about dick pills in these places you tend to get a blank stare.

I always buy the generic brand as genuine Viagra would be very expensive, most imported western items are much more expensive in Thailand than you would by in your home country.

The cheapest I see qualified COVID insurance through AXA is 1540 baht if you are under 19 years and staying 20 days. If you are 19 years it increases to 2250 baht on the 21st day. Anyone who is 1-75 years old it is 4160 baht if your stay is 32-60 days.

It was just shy of 1000 Baht for single trip, 1-75, under 30 days, including required paperwork for COE / TP. I did buy this back in Sept? / October though, so could well believe prices have gone up due to demand / re-opening, etc.

There are 3 restaurant / bars open in Nana Plaza. Twister is the biggest establishment with Lolipop next to it also open. The bar that sits in the center of the plaza is also open.

All are on the ground floor and outside seating is available only. The inside aircon part of the bars appears to be closed although you do see staff going in and out of there, but I do not believe it is open to punters.

Twister was relatively full with approximately 25 dudes and probably the same amount of women looking for said dudes. All outside of course.

One further point. There are lots of couples milling around. Ex working girls with their farang boyfriends. There are lots of them, guess they get bored sitting at home and come out for a drink. Could make up 20% of clientel of bars / restaurants that are open on lower sukhumwit. Due to things being so slow right now, many couples have hooked up. Will be interesting to see how many people become single again when we get back to even 50% capacity.
