First of all, I would like to thank the previous posters for their reports, def shed some light on the situation and helped me to plan my time more efficiently.

Yesterday afternoon I strolled through the Sukhumvit area just to get an impression before the weekend. Started around Noon and walking to Soi Cowboy: This place is now a popular Lunch place for Locals with food stalls spreading throughout the street. And night it's completely dark. Said to open in Jan.

From their went straight to the Nana area: The cpl of bars that were open was serving Single, middle-aged men sitting by themselves, table by table, hoping for some talent to arrive.

Quite a sad site to be honest.

Continued strolling down the street towards ASOK (incl the side streets off Soi 7). Just a few places seemed to be open with no one there except for maybe 1 or 2 middle-aged women. The other places all appeared to be under renovation.

Out of curiosity, I decided to check the same places out after dinner, and boy was I surprised:

The places off Soi 7 (near the Beer Garden) was packed and jumping. My guess was 200-300 people with a 50-50 Mix. Once off the sidewalks people didn't seem to care about wearing a mask anymore.

There are 3 restaurant / bars open in Nana Plaza. Twister is the biggest establishment with Lolipop next to it also open. The bar that sits in the center of the plaza is also open.

All are on the ground floor and outside seating is available only. The inside aircon part of the bars appears to be closed although you do see staff going in and out of there, but I do not believe it is open to punters.

Twister was relatively full with approximately 25 dudes and probably the same amount of women looking for said dudes. All outside of course.

Has anyone had a problem with the recent updated entry requirements entering Thailand:

- This will mean that the current 1-night waiting period in a hotel and a confirmed payment (for a 1-night stay at a SHA++ hotel, 1 RT-PCR test, and prearranged airport transfer) will continue to be required.

- An insurance policy with coverage no less than US $50,000.

I read on this thread that finding an SHA designated Hotel can be a challenge, there's no list?

Do the Thai authorities accept travel insurance to meet that requirement?

I have good health insurance in the US but doubt it would apply in Thailand.

Right now I'm debating going to Cartagena, DR, Sao Paulo, or Thailand (prefer BKK) but need to make my mind up fast. All ticket prices are still reasonable accept Brazil which will be our of reach soon but all are getting pricy by the day.

I just saw an ad advertising Lollipop go-go bar in Nana Plaza as a Mexican restaurant. Says open now, go figure.

I'm guessing they're getting their food from Charley Brown's. Taco Bell now too far either. I'd be very wary drinking at these bars who say they have a restaurant license.

Took a walk through Cowboy, dead.

Took a walk along to NEP. You can walk in now, but there's only one place open, and it's only serving drinks outside. The "people watching" bars, Hooters, etc. Along Soi 4 are all open and relatively busy. Only a few FLs hanging around the car park. Didn't see anything of interest.

Took a walk along Sukhumvit to Thermae, also only a small handful of FLs. Had a coffee at Tom and Toms to watch the foot traffic, but didn't see much of interest there either.

Going to walk back up Soi 11 to Hillary again and see what's there.

Day 17.

Sideline Sara - 60 minutes BBBJ + FS + massage / 1500.

Decided to try out the new "sideline" thing. These are in essence mostly agencies (with a few independents) running in-call escorts, and geared towards the Thai market. You'll have to do a bit of research, be able to speak some Thai or be really handy with Google Translate, and be able to navigate yourself beyond the regular tourist areas of Bangkok. After trying a few, I am not sure it's worth it if you're just here on a short trip. Pros:

- On the cheaper end for the service you get - 1 k to 2 k is usually the max, for 90 minutes / 2 pops.

- Gives you a good excuse to explore the suburbs of Bangkok.

- The ladies are delighted to let you take photos of them to use for advertising and / or in exchange for including them with a review.

- There are many online forums, telegram groups, etc. Where ladies are discussed and reviewed.

Cons:

- Trawling through the loads of listings and reviews, setting up the meeting, getting yourself to the location, etc. All takes time. Double that if you're having to paste loads of it into Google Translate.

- You'll need to be able to read, write and speak Thai, or be very handy with Google Translate.

- Be aware also that "two girls" appears to be a literal translation of "second type of female", I. E. Ladyboy. Don't want anyone going in expecting a FFM threesome and getting more than they bargained for.

- In my limited experience so far, the photos are all highly airbrushed, and the lady you see will probably not look half as good.

- Also in my limited experience, Thai punters write very fluffy reviews!!

- Bring your own condoms. The sizes all these ladies have had so far were far too small, and I do not consider myself anything other than "average".

- Many adverts specifically state restrictions on dick size, so if you are lucky enough to be well-endowed, this might not be the best option for you!

I did not see the need to repeat and copy your report here but must compliment you on the detail of your multi day experiences in Bangkok.
