Due to a personal issue, my international days might be coming to an end. To the point my next trip may be my last. So I am thinking of doing something new. Maybe a can't miss. I've long heard SE Asia is a prime destination. I have covered South America and Mexico fairly well. So my struggle is deciding between Bangkok and Colombia or Brazil. Of course so much is subjective, but I have a few objective questions.

I enjoy massages, particularly body to body. I also enjoy the bar scene. I like to have a drink or two and get to know a girl before discussing term $. With that in mind, I definitely see me prioritizing the soapies and the gogos. (I'm still researching gogos and have alot to learn) Generally speaking, I seek value and don't seek out the leaat epensive option. But I do stick to a budget. Am I in the right neighborhood to budget somewhere around 16,000 baht (daily) for a quality 90-minute b2 be with at least a BBBJ AND a few drinks and maybe a couple hours with a barfined girl? (Obviously I'm not including food, airfare, hotel, etc. In that total).

I've read alot about the declining quality in looks at the soapies. Personally, I'm picky. Way too picky for a guy with my looks. LOL I am not a trophy hunter. I don't need a 10 to be happy. But I do like a pretty face. I know in Colombia, for example, I can't walk down the street without mentally salivating. Is the massage scene so bad that I'll have to visit multuple spots to find a 7?

Lastly, what is the recommended minimum stay? Or perhaps more to the point, how long does it take you to feel normal after those flights. The flights I'm looking at are 25-31 hours. I'm not staying in Thailand for a month. Say what you want, but this is not a location that I find terribly interesting to me in a tourist sense. In fact, I'm not sure I'd stay 2 weeks. Is it just crazy to make that trip for a week and a half, for example?

It seems there are two types of guys. The ones who are used to Latina women in Colombia and Mexico are often disappointed with Asian women. Does Asian porn turn you on? Go look online at porn with Thai girls. If that's your thing, you will enjoy Thailand. But if you are super picky and want the latina booty and tits, Asia is maybe not for you. If you are not interested in the culture and coming purely for a fuckation then just go to Pattaya. Its more dense and has far more girls in a small area. And a week in Patts will probably be enough. A 16 K bhat budget for fucking is more than plenty. I usually spend less than 10 and get 2 to 3 decent fucks a day including some massage.

Totally disagree. I've been doing Suk for years. Thaniya is a better chilled experience for me. I agree that if the guy can afford Pimp (see recent post on it being 35 k for a night from Everything Thai (one of the most experienced members here) he can afford a really nice hotel. Lots to choose from in both Suk and Silom. But saying Thaniya is a waste of time is really subjective an in my (also subjective view) is just wrong. Some great options in Thaniya. And unlike Suk, Silom is not a dump / dirty /. Silom is relaxed, close enough to walk to the river and is chilled with great shopping by day. But if the guy wants soapies in the day. Suk 23/24 is far better than Silom.

First timers or even second or third timers are wasting their time in Thaniya.

I remember one of my first trips to Cambodia back in 2000. I ran into a a guy I met in Bangkok in mid-99 that first day in Phnom Penh. He had been living there for a time. He put his arm around me and said, this is what we pay, don't pay more or it will mess it up for everyone. And he was right. But there is just no telling that to the "it's my money and I'll do what I want" group. The local Thai punters on FF certainly aren't tipping and paying more than the listed price for their sessions. Some of them might take the gal out for dinner and drinks, but they're certainly not poisoning the well. And of course overall they're much better at compartmentalizing then we westerners.

Dude go to the hotel section of the forum and see where people are staying. I would stay around the Sukhumvit area. I could recommend you a dozen hotels, go to Agoda and find in your price range. If you can afford pimp, you could afford a super nice hotel. Avoid Thaniya it's a waste of your time. So is Patpong.

Appreciate the feedback, I plan to test pimp or nana the first day and snag some lines to walk around the rest of my time. If you feel that plan fits better with any of the level girls but at a different place just lmk. I'll send any line info I can collect (if I can) as a thank you.

Your plan is good for the Nana girls, but not in the Pimp. Like I said, the Pimp girls are not the normal type of working girls foreigners deal with in Nana, Soi Cowboy, and Patpong or Thai Friendly. My advice to you is this. On your first night, budget 30,000 Baht for the pimp. Go there and experience it one time for yourself. Don't be too serious with he girls and just go with the flow. Many of them don't even speak English. I myself can speak Thai. Then, your next night and for the rest of your trip, stick to Nana, Soi Cowboy, and some of the massage shops. Even go into Thermae. Then do a night or 2 in Pattaya. That should cover you mate.

About the pimp. It's nothing like the scene in nana plaza, soi cowboy or patpong. And far from the Pattaya scene. If you can convince a girl to go with you, it will be ST and the prices start at 6000 Baht ST. Then they will only consider it if you are a decent spender. That means paying for their time. How it works is you buy a bottle service package. Then you choose 1 girl for each guy. So, if you are alone, the bill will be higher of course. Then you pay about 1500-2500 Baht for the first hour with each girl and 500-800 Baht for each additional hour. They will drink from your bottle. There is no bar fine. You will need to make a side deal with the girl and they can't leave until at least 2 am. Most girls there won't do BBFS and LT. It will be one shot with a condom. But dam, they are smokin hottttt. The experience will be more of a GFE than a PSE.

For example, my last visit there cost me 25,000 Baht for my bar tab, 10,000 Baht for the lady. Have fun mate.

Hi all. Trying to find basics to navigate a 4-6 day stay. Thinking of staying exclusively near khlong toei but at an air bnb. Do you recommend or just go with a traditional hotel? Plan to do the common areas but willing to branch out to Thaniya? And close areas. I'll go to Pimp? And report back what I find. I am into greek and multiples. Prefer young but service wins with manageable looks. Want to maximize my time there so not as cost sensitive. Also, cash is king still.
