Lots of girls. Decent selection on most nights. Price is fair. No barfine. No expectation to buy lady drinks. Cheap drinks. Good place to people watch. Good pad ka prao. Very centrally located. Why Thermae when there are plenty of other options?

It is easy to pass through on the way to and from Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza, drinks are normal price not beer bar or go-go bar price, at least 75% of the girls are delighted to be approached and taken for ST by any man of any age and ethnicity (more than 75% now) and at a cost generally 500 baht to 1,500 baht less than taking a girl from a typical beer bar or go-go bar. Often less rough edged girls at that.

Thermae has a lot going for it on all those counts, especially if you are the kind of punter pleased to get standard, basic fare of "lick around the edges, if that, slip on a condom and proceed."

Getting an above average girl there who is new to you and willng to agree upfront to BBFS+CIP for the going rate of, say, 2,000 baht - 2,500 baht is the only real challenge 99% of the punters of the world might face there, as it is throughout Thailand imo. Other than Anal I suppose, if you are into it.

Oh, and if you are a farang with an inflexible fetish for being seen walking out of a bar with the best looking girl in the place or among the top 5% best lookers there, you will be hit with the cold shoulder from among that subgroup in ways you probably never will in practically any other public venue in the country.

Other than that, there is nothing humiliating about passing through Thermae to see if there is a diamond in the rough or an undiscovered gem in the line up. I have found some.

1) How crowded is it everywhere on the walking streets of these cities?

2) Are their girls in the Go Go's? Are there crowds at the various clubs?

3) Are all the places open or only some are open?

4) Have these places lost their charm due to the virus?

I am planning on coming to these places and it would help me make a decision if I should continue or postpone my trip.

Regarding Bangkok, the Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy areas are still open but there are far fewer tourists and punters walking around. I am seeing a lot of new and attractive freelancer faces and bodies on the street in the Nana Plaza area, though. Some go-go bars are lively and full of customers, almost the same as before. Not coincidentally imo, the ones that have given ME the best results for getting True GFE/Real Sex are still pretty crowded and popular while the ones that have given me shit or hassle getting Value For my Money are not.

Last night starting out around 10:30PM, places such as Enter, Butterflies, Mandarin and Billboard seemed to be doing fine. Adjusted for inflation prices are mostly still reasonable, Thai women are still the nicest and most beautiful in the world, farangs rather than Asians are still who Thai women prefer as husbands, the problem getting bare body sex is a result of the girls being smarter when it comes to their health, nose jobs and tats are really not that much of a turn off, if you follow the rules immigration is straightforward, and yes pollution is a problem but it's a problem most everywhere in developing economies.

Personally I'm fortunate to live where ever I want but I choose to live here most of the year because I love the people I love the food and I love the massages++.

My experience has been close to that except for one thing; bareback sex is much easier to get now than it was decades ago and easier now than it was just 4-5 years ago. And it has nothing to do with girls being more willing to agree to it due to lower customer traffic. This was already happening before coronovirus was in the news.
