I did something I usually don't like to do yesterday. I had a Short Time in my apartment in the early evening, around 6PM, instead of later at night. The reason I don't like to do that is because, at almost 67 years old and living here in Bangkok, I have pretty much shot all the bullets I care to shoot on a given day or evening and now I have nothing of a sexual nature left to to look forward to for the rest of the long night. Only eat, walk around, check out the sights, watch the parade, encounter a buddy or two for a chat. But I got an offer I could not refuse from a 20-something year old girl with an knockout body, an even more wonderful pussy and a more than passable, sexy face I'd met on the BTS train a few weeks ago. So I accepted.

Then around 10:30PM I happened to be passing Thermae and decided to stop in for a soda and to continue monitoring the reduced customer issue of late. The first thing I noticed that seemed a bit different was a couple of very good looking real females standing at the top of the steps smiled broadly, nodded and looked as though they were really happy to see me. Damn. Typical. Whenever I am not really looking to take a girl, the best looking ones start reaching out to me. LOL.

Inside, I took the stroll around and, I'll be damned, the "welcome" is much more demonstrative, even from the best looking girls in the line up, than I'd experienced in my two previous strolls through the place over the past couple of weekends. Very nice smiles here, even nicer smiles over there. A semi-hottie on the left side reaches out to grab my hand as I pass and it turns out to be a better than average looking Thermae girl I'd taken a few months ago on a whim and had totally forgotten. She was "No, No, a Thousand Times No" to BBFS+CIP in the room at the time but, no matter, I settled for a pretty good BBFS+CIM to salvage the situation. Well, THIS night she seemed to be signalling me as non verbally as possible that she so wants me to take her she will say Yes to anything and everything. I mean practically begging me to take her in front of everyone. But, of course, there is no way to really know that for sure because the hellish anti-negotiation conditions in those Thermae line-ups make it impossible to talk about anything important except "How much?" And, honestly, I wouldn't have been all that interested in taking her again even if my gun belt was loaded with bullets and she said Yes to my every wish.

I resumed my stroll around the bar and, again, I can't get over how demonstrably interested in me taking them almost every girl was. That damn curse of getting so much proactive attention when I am really not prepared to or all that interested in taking a girl anyway!

Or was it more than that?

I looked around again and, it finally dawned on me. There were very, very few Asian customers in there at that hour on that night. Seriously. Unlike the last couple of times I cruised through when it was quite crowded with Asian customers and the "top 5%" best lookers were throwing me the coldest shoulder I have felt in a while, this night there were very few Asian "witnesses" to these girls smiling, flirting and reaching out to me. Yes, even among the "top 5%" best lookers in there.

Sure, I suppose it could have been simply the fact that there were so few customers in there of any ethnicity in the first place, that even somewhat elderly farangs were now a hot item. But what I experienced last night compared with previous nights definitely supported the theory that much of this cold shoulder for farangs bit with some (not all) Thermae girls is really all about them not wanting to be seen by their more predominant potential customer demographic to be "into" going with a farang customer.

I really had the feeling that I was being invited, not challenged, to approach, get a positive response and an agreement to go with virtually any girl in the place last night, except for maybe 1% of the No Farang holdouts. Now, whether or not any of those hotter Thermae girls would have been agreeable to MY kind of True GFE/Real Sex arrangement is a totally different question and one I did not ask of any of them, not being interested in taking one anyway. I'm guessing not many at all would have gone for that. Yet. But if I had been roaring to take a girl and was the kind of punter who is fine with basic, standard, covered almost everything fare, I don't think all but a handful of Thermae girls would have grimaced and turned away from even the most elderly farang on the hunt last night.

Adjusted for inflation prices are mostly still reasonable, Thai women are still the nicest and most beautiful in the world, farangs rather than Asians are still who Thai women prefer as husbands, the problem getting bare body sex is a result of the girls being smarter when it comes to their health, nose jobs and tats are really not that much of a turn off, if you follow the rules immigration is straightforward, and yes pollution is a problem but it's a problem most everywhere in developing economies.

Personally I'm fortunate to live where ever I want but I choose to live here most of the year because I love the people I love the food and I love the massages++.

My experience has been close to that except for one thing; bareback sex is much easier to get now than it was decades ago and easier now than it was just 4-5 years ago. And it has nothing to do with girls being more willing to agree to it due to lower customer traffic. This was already happening before coronovirus was in the news.

Also, other than the very best looking top 5% or so girls in Thermae and some in 2-3 go-go bars around town, I really have not observed or experienced much of a cold shoulder rejection of older farang customers in favor of young men of any ethnicity.

P4P girls in Thermae and in most of Pattaya exude a similar grindingly boring "too cool for you" attitude. It seems to be ingrained in the current prevailing Customer-Hooker dynamic. As you say, very different from the past.

But even a 27 year old male friend I was with a few weeks ago in Pattaya who really "has it" that every girl in Pattaya wanted could not find a session with any of the girls he took on Soi 6 or Walking Street bars he'd want to repeat even for free.

He used to live in Bangkok and, not coincidentally, had the same "meh" reaction to any session he had with Thermae girls.

Now he focuses on the dating sites for side trips from his Thai girlfriend and mother of their baby.

The white man is just not in favor these days.

I've been wondering where the stunners are too, spend about a week and a half in Pattaya and a week in Bangkok.

There are pretty girls for sure, but they've all had a baby or 2. Every once in a while you find a 20-21 yr old who hasn't but they are hard to find.

I never knew about thermae until I read this post last week, went to go check it out. It was absolutely jam packed with girls, like 200 inside at least and another 50 or so outside.

I'm not a bad looking guy and quite young (30), normally I get quite a bit of attention from regular non P4P Thai girls, But in thermae it seemed out of the 200 only 5 or so even had a interest in talking to me.

Definitely a different vibe there, 98% Asian men, and even boys, saw a couple of Korean boys in their early 20's getting lots of attention but they were just looking.

Some more friendly girls were sitting outside and found myself a 24 yr old banker which was quite pretty.

I agree there are far fewer attractive gals in the scene. Of course my tastes have changed since I moved here as well. One day you wake up and most Isaan gals just don't look that good. I really do the GoGo scene so I can't comment, but I will say that in FL places like Thermae the young guys have it. Same seems to go for soi 6 in Pattaya.

Agreed. Lots of very attractive non-p4 p gals. But they are for sure not interested in older men, whereas 20 years ago, they were. That's economic development for you.

I do see some young farang dudes with some very good looking gals, but for the most part I see them with gals I wouldn't give a second look to. I think there are far fewer old horny sexpats then there were 20 years ago. There are also a lot more young farang dudes. But most are not at all interested in p4 p. I do see some young farang dudes with some very good looking gals, but for the most part I see them with gals I wouldn't give a second look to. They are dating at the same level they would be back home. Sad.
