After arriving in BKK, I first wanted to try out Line and ThaiFriendly. A bit disappointed in Line so far, but have to be fair also, it is still early.

After installing Line with my brand new Thai phone number, I set up a new account. After that I have only been looking for the 'People Nearby' function, which I could not find. It is supposed to be there, but my Line app looks different from any screenshot online. Where some Line apps have a menu option 'More' at the bottom of the screen (behind which the Nearby function should be located), this Line app has the option 'Wallet' which is something different entirely. And yes, I have updated the pp to the most recent version. Any ideas?

For ThaiFriendly, I did the same. With my Thai phone number I created an account, uploaded a picture and liked some ladies. A bunch are ugly and not many seem to be into p4 p (stating this explicitly in their profile). But interesting contacts start to come in now, so will probably give it a shot sometime soon.

Line never had a Nearby function. Maybe you talking about WeChat (which is very bad in my experience).

So, as far as the "going rate" is concerned, I might not be so quick to say 3,000 baht is the new going rate in Thermae. But it is certainly a common starting point for the better looking girls there, imo and in my experience.

Thermae girl Monday night for me was 2000 and she fit my criteria as being slim, firm and cute.

If 30 minutes is all you need, it is hardly worthwhile coming to Thailand. Its too far. In the old days Thailand was suited to getting a girl for the whole night for a very good price, or even to hire her for multiple days on a holiday tour.

I still get a price benefit in Thailand over Germany, due to needing more time. 60 minutes is my minimum (in Germany too) and sometimes runs to 90 minutes or whatever extra time is available.

In my comparison I forgot to mention that 30 minutes or 60 minutes makes no difference to me in terms of ST. And I can and will only pop once, so a 2 or 3-hour ST would be no use to me either. I think some of these problems are avoidable, if you are not too drunk. Not sure how mamasan stole a tip. 1000 is a round number (no change). You should not be paying the girl's 3 k in advance. The "People Nearby" feature is not available on Line in Thailand. That's why you don't see it in the menu here.
