I don't mind hanging out with Asians in KTV's. I think that's fun. In a normal bar atmosphere though, it's a bit different.

The cheaper priced KTV's in Beijing are fun as hell. The stupid games the girls play in the room are excellent. For example, they cover your face with a towel, then each girl takes off her panties and positions her pussy above your face one by one. They open the towel so you can see only her pussy. Then after all the girls show their pussy, they line up, take the towel off your head and ask you to identify which girl was which.

Depending on the crowd, I walk whatever way I want. But I don't deliberately bump into folks, and half the time I go there it's just for a pit stop.

I myself am quite unstable and welcome the excitement of having some tourist shove me, so that I can watch his reactions later when it's payback time. In 25 years of going to Thermae, there has never been one time that I didn't have fun. Go sit by a son of the rising sun sometimes and share drinks and stories. Many Asians know how to party hard.

One of my prime drunks in life was with a bunch of Japanese guys in Tokyo. I have vague memories of laughter, tears, vomits, protestations of undying drunken friendship, invective at the Chinese and Koreans and waking up with a cutie next to me that they bought for me and tossed into my bed.

Touched down at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Would've gone to Super Rich or Vasu at the lower level of the airport but flew in after hours. Exchanged money at the airport at one of the money exchange stands and got 9500 baht for the 1st night. Will end up exchanging at Vasu on Sukhumvit the rest of the trip as the rate is good, and the a / see feels great.

TAXI.

The taxi ride from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Nana Entertainment Plaza is about 320 to 350 baht as read from the taxi's meter and adding toll fees. These were the observed amounts going to and from the airport at around midnight when traffic is light to none, and taxi drivers are not as busy. A taxi driver offering 400 baht, including toll fees, is fair while 500 baht is worth considering though not over that amount. Tuk tuks are dangerous to ride in given it's a death trap and because the driver tries to go as fast as possible, cuts off cars, and other drivers are reckless as well. The preference is to ride in an air conditioned taxi, however tuk tuks are fine going short distances for a hundred baht..

I would say if some of the 5 best looking women in Thermae were quoting or willing to come down to 1500 baht for a ST, then whatever attitude you brought into the place was working for you. Don't change it.

I agree with your opinion that negotiating only the price without clearly connecting it to your expectations for that price is asking for problems in the room. Unless you're willing to rely on random dumb luck.

So may I ask what your discussed expectations were for the best lookers in Thermae who agreed to a 1500 baht ST with you?

Thanks. Of the 5, one was 1500 and another was 1800 baht. This wasn't the initial quote and had to be negotiated down. 3000 was the top but fell to 2500. This just seemed like random variance as my approach was the same to all as I'm sure you and many others have experienced, so I don't feel I'm doing anything special here.

Asked for everything from BBFS and BBBJ to CIM and DATY. Personally do not DATY when P4 P. Asked about BBFS to see how open minded she is and also check for any mouth sores if she says yes. Sometimes if there's desperation from her for $ after agreeing to BBFS, it's time to pass and move to the next. A crappy vetting process and not against BB as did do BBFS a few times during the trip. But these Thermae TGs were CFS & BBBJ and a couple said CBJ which is a hard pass. This is generally the process that works for me when setting expectations in the room though would be open to a better approach.

Of course, you start with introducing yourself, asking for her name, if she lives in BKK, if she has work the next day, and how much. She will only ask 3 questions: where are you from, where is your hotel, and how long are you staying? Hahaha.

Can't say we ever had a comment like this. Who gives a rats ass if tourists in Cowboy want to sit outside in the heat? Otherwise they probably go into Suzie Wong to see the darts shooting shows and any other ugly shows.

Apart from trying to watch English Premier league, on TV screens outside gogo bars, and meeting up with someone for a chat, sitting outside is pretty useless. There must be better locations for these purposes, and plenty to choose from. I have sat outside pretty much only when waiting for a girl to show up, intending to BF her immediately, without seeing the ugly shows inside.

A big bunch of guys can be hard for full bars to accommodate, and can become nuisance value if they are jumping around partying too much. You might be better off with much smaller groups of 2 to 4 guys max.

The observation was from punters actually trying to find a seat, but a tourist, maybe from the US or Europe, resting her feet there. I would only see this a couple times. It actually looked like patrons of the bar were stepping outside for a smoke looking for a seat or bringing their drinks outside to speak and take a break. What was stated was simply more of a universal approach in terms of the establishment and its customers rather than an individual's perspective, such as your own, of which there are many. Of course there are other places to have a chat and watch TV, but let's not shift the goal posts here. We're talking about paying customers there for their own reason. Whether you feel the shows inside these places are ugly or not isn't salient to what was said. A paid customer was looking for a seat taken up by a non-paying customer. That's not a good look any way you put it.

A big bunch of guys who spend can be great for full bars. Agree that a big bunch of guys can be nuisance if jump around partying too much. This was a rather random and one sided statement that needed to be corrected.

I would rather party with a bunch of girls, and have done in the far past. Of course you have to be able to understand their conversation moderately. Once went to a Tulip girl's birthday party with mostly girls (from Tulip), and once went to a Soapy MP (Emanuelle) staff New Year party. They were great fun. Inevitably the taste of the guys will vary so much in venue, music, and girls. Have had the case when meetings other couples, where one pair had a floundering relationship, about to terminate, and I would have been happy to take the girl off his hands, ha ha, but had to be on best behaviour.
