I suggest you try the Red Cross in Ratcha Damri (I think) near corner with Sarasin. NW corner of Suan Lum park, (across the road). You get HIV result after 1 hour and should be a lot cheaper. They do a follow up test (more accurate amplification test which takes days), however they won't contact you unless that comes up positive (extremely unlikely after initial quick blood test).

I will refer you to BKKdog's "guidelines" on this matter. (raw) I completely agree with them.
