Good seeing your report. Not a newbie to Thailand, but definitely to Thermae. I was also there Saturday around 9 pm. Got lucky to get a seat in the center island. I do agree there were lots of cute girls there, however I did get the non response when trying to get attention of some of the pretty young ones. Very noticeable the attention given to the Asian customers vs western. I guess I'll just have to work on my Thermae game as I definitely felt very rusty. Might stop back this evening for my last night here until I come back in March.

So here is your report from the ground, last night, a mere 24 hours after another flight from hell from the States. Note to travelers: The food sucks on Asiana. Oh wait, the food sucks on all airlines. OK, Asiana sucks worse.

Thermae was packed with all sorts of hot girls. Packed. 80% plus were doable, something for everyone. It was loaded with Chinese too. And, beyond that, they were yokels. I had a few girls laughing their asses off because this fat old man was calling the Chinese dudes Khun Bannok. Seriously, I bet some never saw a flush toilet before. And a note to my Chinese friends, getting drunk and horseplaying loudly is so Thailand 1980's, I never even saw Brits act like that. My word guys, smoke some weed, the Thai girls don't like you or respect you so why act like drunken louts.

There were some newbie Westerners there so I gave them the rundown. One guy kept saying "I can't beleive how many beautiful girls there are here".

ID say 90% of the girls were "new", that is, I had never seen them before and I was only gone a month. I just watched the scene, took some numbers and chilled. For those of you who are Thermae experienced, it was nice to see the Boss there, he even stood at the bar direction spot for a while. He says he is OK, but I think he is having some health problems. Thanks for the report. I will need to go checkout Thermae this time. It is astonishing to me that I have stayed more than 5-6 times in the hotels on either side of Thermae but never once stepped into Thermae, simply because I had my schedule too full. This time it is not going to be any different either but I will certainly step in there this time around.

Next week I reach Bangkok for a week. It is a work-cum-pleasure trip. I spend a week on my way to Singapore and Seoul (work destinations, but there is JJ Mahoney's in Grand Hyatt Seoul also so there is some fun there too. LOL) and another week in December while returning.

Well other than the Soi 12 error, clearly caused by exhaustion and some fab Satans Lettuce (Gorilla Nuts, Hybrid) from my local, I thought I had given the correct description and their arent any street signs, so lets take your description and make a mini map, Viz, the short tour:

The Short Tour.

Start at Thermae (Soi 15).

Walk down (away from T21) Sukhumvit. Ie, pitch a right after leaving Thermae. South East for you compass dudes.

Pass lustful "females", majority are ladyboys.

Stop at Margarita Storm Soi 13 for a San Diego Burrito. Yum.

There are tons of Africans on that corner. My canned response is: No, motherfucker, I am an American and don't need your help for anything.

Locate the escalator outside the Hyatt. Take it up. There is no down.

Cross on Bridge, walk down first stairs, don't continue on Bridge.

You are now on the even number side of Suk. Facing the wrong way. Turn around. Head the same way you were going.

Take a left down SOI 8, a street that was misidentified by some stoned pedantic dickhead as Soi 12.

Pass a Sub Soi on the right, then when you come to the next sub Soi, maybe 100 meters make a right.

Lolitas is on the left, 50 yards in. Hold down your gorge and keep going. 10 yards past, the Soi opens up into a little passage. The cats are usually friendly, at least to me.

Take the passage and Kasalong is on your left. Chances are that you won't find a mouth attractive enough to fill with your manjuice.

You are now in sort of an open square. Straight down the road is Soi 6. You want to head that way, its the only way to go.

Don't make your first right. Or left. Straight. Forward. In the distance, you will see the revels and flames of Hell, and begin you hear the yammering of the damned.

2 minutes. You are now on Soi 4, Soi Nana, the Pit, the Circus, on the list of the 10 most strange places in the known universe. Go RIGHT on the corner of Soi 6 and Soi 4.

* All airline food sucks? Not if you fly Emirates biz class! Added bonus is chilling in the upstairs onboard lounge on their A380's! Not cheap tho.

* Thermae: I've had my share of take-outs over the past 40 years or so. And they were mostly meh, very transactional. The only memorable one was a SYT I bumped into on the sidewalk as I left the joint and she was about to enter. But if you spotted so many "new" and doable ones, I might go down to say Hi to The Boss, have a JW soda, and do a lap or two around to check out the current talent!

* Chinese mongers: Sigh, how I wish it were lockdown again. Frightening news flash: "Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin announced last week that Thailand would waive tourist visa requirements for nationals of China and Kazakhstan from Sept. 25 to Feb. 29,2024. The government hopes the policy will boost foreign visitor numbers to 30 million this year, including 5 million Chinese. ".

* BJ spots: Back in the day, I would sometimes frequent Lolitas and Kasalong; the former was very convenient for an early morning farewell BJ before going to the airport.
