Speaking of Tamarindo, been to Jaco many times but never Tamarindo so I will visiting this summer. From what I read about Tamarindo there is no "Cocal" style spot with freelancers freely about walking about waiting for the right customer. Does anyone have insight info about Tamarindo? Where to go to find freelancers? What to do? The overall vibes with Tamarindo?

Girls there are no different. Many girls in San Jose come from there. Relationships are possible (anywhere) if you want to move there and live there and are willing to fully support a wife. But if it is clear that you are only visiting then what sort of relationship will you get? In some sense it will always be a mongering type of relationship. She may be your girlfriend, but she cannot drop all of her other options as the visiting monger will never be a long term solution. So if you can afford it you may be able to have her during the time you are there, but use whatever terminology you want to describe the relationship, but it will be whatever it is. One of the big differences in relationships in places such as Costa Rica is that most of these girls have no option for being self sufficient, and if they do they will not be looking for relationships with mongers or visitors because they know what it is about.

Coco has a Tico bar as you enter town right after it splits into 4 lanes. They have rooms in a separate building. 2 tiered pricing schedule. I do not know the tico price but dumb tourists it was 130. I said bullshit and walked out. Girls available downtown most nites even had 3 girls I would have had to card that were something else. Had to pass due to a prior engagement. This was in early November.

The tico bar is before cabinas bar and restaurant it has a gate and a parking lot inside compound it doesn't open till about 7 pm.

There's a bar at the edge of town in Liberia with girls and short-term rooms next door. It's in the south east corner of town, down Calle 11 a bit after the road turns to gravel. On the left the last structure is a modest cinder block building with a bar.

The bar was empty but I went straight to the building next door where an older woman rousted three putas for my selection. It was about 4:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Two were kind of old and ugly, but one was 24, cute and bubbly, if a bit tubby. Her room was starkly lit and basic. Condom wrappers were on the floor but the bed seemed clean enough. After a bit of foreplay she got into it, decided to turn off the light, and then really got going. Took a shower with her in the room after. Overall fun and worth the stop. Tamarindo is definitely a tourist town, English signs high dollar women's clothing stores and Hotels. The beach is loaded with tourists and vendors. The beach is nicer than Coco, Tan Sand where Coco's is black sand. Coco is more like a Mexican beach town 50 years ago, middle-class retirees with less pomp and circumstance. More fishing boats and catamarans than Tam. 3 or 4 carts selling grilled chicken or meat on the sidewalk.

Coco is more accessible where Tamarindo is pretty isolated.

I spent about 3 weeks in Coco and the girls are available most nights if the weather is nice. On the weekends they are more visible. They are mostly local girls looking at picking up extra spending money.

The first weekend I could have had 2 for 100 but I was not prepared. One was about a 7. There is a $40 hotel next to the Mexican restaurant at the main intersection. The second weekend I ran into a pack of 3 but only wanted 1, it is too hard to watch the ones not underneath you. The best looking one followed me to the casino and waited until I got tired of losing money that I could put to better use. She was wearing a tight-fitting number with no bra or panties. Ready for action. All the girls spoke passable English. During the week I ran into 3 or 4 other girls on separate nights.

Zi's has the best happy hour 11-7 $2.50 for beer or Margarita on Rocks, frozen drinks $4. 50. The girls are around there or by Coconutz.

One of the girls on a Wednesday night was sitting with 2 -30 something guys who were oblivious to what was really going on, the one talking thought he had some game (scoff) she was giving me the look while he was not looking. He wanted to set something up for the next night because they had to pick-up 2 buddies at the Liberian Airport at 7:30 she was pissed because of wasting time with him finished off her drink and stormed off down the street. I had to take care of my tab so there was no way I was catching up maybe I would see her later. She was the best looking of the 9 or so girls I knew were available and this amateur had no clue that it was not going to be free.

Food is generally more expensive than the US but Coconutz has a daily HR special a Hamburger on Monday for $5 - good meat like a typical $15 Burger in the US; Tuesday is Taco Tuesday for chicken or beef for $2 apiece; Saturday / Sunday wings $10 Grilled or fried.

I also found Two Girls in Tamarindo who rent their own cabins, but only on weekends.

They can be found on the typical Escort web sites. Just what's app with them a few days before to verify they are real.

For Coco there are also several girls, again only on weekends. Two will drive them or Bus there to meet you but they UP Charge you.

Found one in Tamarindo and she has a place more in two 6 Miles from beach, will pick you up in her car but charges double the price, plus Car idea may not be very safe.

All in all about 8 Girls working this area (some also do Liberia).
