Any recommendations on a currency exchange place? Is a MEPSA required / easier or is a cash lifestyle preferred? Want to avoid having to use my credit / debit cards if necessary. Any recommendations on areas to lounge / relax in Nairobi to chat and meet people and / or Tinder 1st date. Tinder / Badoo / Tagged is cool but filtering thru hundreds of photos and online intro conversations gets redundant and boring quick; any places that where I can bump into the 25-35 crowd and run game the old fashion way?

Get used to use your Debit Cards. Depending from where you're from. I prefer Revolut. Don't kill yourself by running around with a lot of cash. Use secure located ATMS. Even safe deposit boxes in hotels can be opened. Never deposit cash at the reception in an
African hotel.

PCR test cost more then 200 USD were I live so that's a good idea. Maybee to take a real test onces then next time just edit the dates.

Covid has no risk? In thailand airports are closed, I am locked inside for months with no date for reopening.

If you fly Kenya air then take into account a 24 h delay or total cancellation.

Now, Even if you get on time to Kenya immigration the officer can start trolling claiming its not a valid test etc. Let say you pass the immigration then you start mongering with a mask fear from anyone that can infect you.

Forget the MPs. The official government communication says you need a negative PCR Test no older then 72 hours prior to arrival. That's it. Get your VOA as usual. No quarantine.

Who's in the process of finalizing my travel. Leaning towards TZ as I like to have a few Serengeti baridi in Ambiance and look at some bunda shaking chicas stuck in hot pants dancing to local bongo tunes.

There were bars open and no social distancing in a bar on a side street near me. One day the cops came and beat people's asses for being open and this was after curfew. After that the place did close on time but it was still open during the day.

Just saw Today the president is extending the curfew for another 30 days and now stopping the sale of alcohol. I'm In shape, black, in my 30's and I got decent game. Is this trip still dobable?. I like to do tourist things first, meet cute ladies second. Between Tagged, Badoo, Tinder I have received over 400 likes in the last two weeks and a bunch of WhatsApp numbers so I think I can build a decent pipeline but that 9 pm curfew sucks, no bars, no hotel drinks, no nightlife. I don't mind a few vacation girlfriends but I want to be able to do stuff and not have a hanger on who is bored sitting in the room watching TV. If I cancel I won't be recover this trip for at least a year. For those who have been on the ground since COVID-19 started and some rules relaxed in July; What say you. Go or Stay?

The funny thing was I just left Kenya. Before I left because I lived there for over a year my phone was blowing up from girls that I gave my number to these were non pros who had their hours cut or lost jobs. So as long as the malls are open and stores in the CBD are open you can still fuck.

BUT.

I'm in the DR right now and shit is bad. The main issue is I don't speak spanish and I'm not in Sosua, but the other problem is girls are trying to charge a fortune. And girls not wanting to over night and getting home before that curfew traffic gets overwhelming.

That being said living in the US sex prison is not an option for me. If I were you and you read the forum and you have Tinder I'd say go. If you're working a regular job and you never traveled chances are you never will. Better to take an L on non mongering activities and load up on the insane GFE you'll get.

That will probably give you the Africa bug so that you can do some non mongering on your 11th trip because I still haven't been on a safari and I had many chances to go.

Frankly no amount of RTFF subsitutes for boots on the ground almost everyone's newbie trip is fucked up but you won't realize that until your a Kenya Kimbo on your 30th trip.
