How long does it take to get EAC visa and what is the process on arrival? It has been some years since last I was in Kenya.

You arrive at Yomo Kenyatta. At the right side of the immigration booths there is a counter EAC Visa. Hand over a crisp 100 dollar note. Sticker fixed in the passport you're done. Multiple entries as long as visa remains valid. 3 Months.

Landed yesterday in NBO. Shelled out 100 US for the EAC visa. So good to go to Uganda and Rwanda.

Otherwise, I typically settle for any number of inexpensive local hotels though I know the female receptionists cast a side eye to me when I bring different girlfriends back to my place. Not being fluent in the language means they could be communicating my goings on, but my girlfriends already know the deal anyway. I just hate haters.

Yeah, just hater fat that wish it was they who are about get their brains fucked out by a foreigner. I got sick of the attitudes, drama and stupidity by front desk women that give you grief the only way they can-at check in. I can't speak to Uganda, but Woodmere is my spot as previously described.

I was looking into ABB for trip I am planning next year to Kampala and then to J'burg. I am leaning toward some decent guesthouses in J'burg. In Kampala, I found many of the ABB listings to be restrictive on bringing guests back, even old girlfriends. Led me to believe that many of the ABB posters in Kampala are of the religious type. Has anyone else been able to crack the code on this or have any specific recommendations? Otherwise, I typically settle for any number of inexpensive local hotels though I know the female receptionists cast a side eye to me when I bring different girlfriends back to my place. There is some very decent guesthouses around Kabalagala run by Eritreans. I had a big new room 150 meters from Capital. They are Christians too. They didn't bat an eyelid as I came home almost every night with a different chica. The only explicit holy place which stated no "Twilight girls" I encountered was Maralal. And in Gisenyi. In the reception of my guest house big Virgin Mary posters on the wall. But. No issues. Just a big smile from the elderly female proprietor.
