Normally its the municipal askaris, not the regular police, who arrest even if you spit or throw litter. Soon they will be arresting jaywalkers if a new by law is passed. Cross the road at the wrong place and you are in for it.

I much prefer the laid back mombasa.

If you smoke outdoors you are running a risk. I think that it is not allowed, and if so, the police if the spot you would certainly don't say no to an extra bonus from you ;)

So Casablanca still exists? A girl I spoke to this Christmas couldn't confirm this. She thought it was out of business.

If it is still open I would appreciate if someone could tell me a little about the place. Expensive? Better class chicks etc

There certainly are wealthy Africans. Poor guy thought incorrectly that everyone is poor in Kenya, obviously not the case. The difference lies in the median income with greater numbers in Kenya NOT jumping into Mercs.

What you're describing about rich girls is true about rich girls everywhere. The number of rich girls *in Kenya* getting 1000 USD per month from Daddy is probably equals to the number of rich girls getting 1000 USD per month from Daddy in {pick country of choice}. Point is, it's irrelevant to this discussion.

We're not talking about getting rich girls, we're talking about getting average girls.

First I'd like to thank you for your interesting report. Such effort is to be encouraged.

I think Jerulez has a point however. Your views can be intepreted to apply to all Kenyan women. I think he has made some interesting points. I know for a fact that some of those 1000usd women work as secretaries and waiters by choice. However you have correctly pointed out if they play games then dump them. Good advice I would say. We don't really need rich women, unless they are our Mothers!

First off all, you can't really generalize kenyan women and lump them into one category. Her mannerisms and expectations will always be reflective of her class and upbringing. If a girl is from a working class background (east nairobi), then she might not expect to be wined and dined.

I love the smoking regulations, so no problem for me.

There are a few restaurants and bars that have their own smoking room.

F2 has one. There is also a restaurant near F1 where you can smoke. Around the corner. They have a balcony.

I've seen other places too

You can smoke at almost any bar, hotel or restaurant that has outdoor seating. Simmers, Kengeles, Tamara, probably Stanley... Order a soda or beer to go with your habit, and you're golden.

my recent approach is quite simple: I take a girl for LT from, let's say, Madhouse and pay her in the morning 2000 KHS. No 'relationship' at all and no dinner! Just one or two drinks at Madhouse for the cuty, that's all. At the end of the day it is the very best deal, at least financially! And the next day I can take another one without having any obligation or feeling bad! Play and pay, that's ok! :)

I totally agree!!! And one tiny little remark I would like to add: I tend to discourage all guys who intend to stay with one girl for longer than one day/night! If you even travel with her in Kenya it becomes quite costly! Believe you me, gentlemen, I made this mistake once!

I agree with Hesekiels:

It's a business to them so if you stay with one she will milk you (pardon the pun if you're lucky) in more ways than one. If you can land an 18 year old and do the sex for school fees routine she could become a 'regular' but even that's tricky.
