As a burned child and I guess many reports about security here, I still have to say.

Do not use your phone outside the streets late night.

Otherwise something could happen what happen to me.

I was standing outside Sabina joy and trying to organize an uber for me and my night nurse. Someone came running and slap my phone out of my hand. The second unfriendly guy take my phone from the ground and run away. No chance, except you are trained well in running. Though some advice's say don't follow such useless persons of mankind cause maybe they bring more troubles in his area for you.

My advice is.

Do not show your phone around, doesn't matter daytime or nighttime.

Have a backup phone with you.

Otherwise it will be difficult for you to reach your favorite ladies from badoo, tinder, afro or whatever.

Use an applocker for your apps and block everything what's important.

Take your logistics for transportation or whatever inside the club.

Go outside hands free and watch carefully your area.

Please do not tell me how stupid I was. I know it very well.

Ambro la Musica, on wednesdays in the Yacht Lounge and on saturdays in his own club, Bottoms Up in Shanzu.

Personally I find Amitie Musica the best Congolese band with the most balanced sound and the best singers. They are playing every weekend in the Summit Grill in Bombolulu, on Wednesdays in Bamburi and sometimes in the Maasai Beach Club in Nyali.

Before covid there was this Band at club Africana (I've heard it's closed now) in Dubai who played Congolese music and during Ramadan they went to Nairobi and played there. But I didn't know where.

I did some investigations with the name you told, takes a bit time but I found out it could be possible that some live music is playing at.

I was looking for the same. Nobody could tell me anything. In some upscale hotels maybe occasionally. Same as Vision Congo in KLA. Closed down. I hope there'll be some life concerts. Don't forget. The entertainment industry took a big hit during COVID. There's some joints which play Congolese music. But not live.

In Mtwapa there was Legends. Also kaputt now.

There was a guy named Ricky Mulolo and band.

FYI: Stayed in Kenya for 6 months. Got one extension.

Went to immigration in CBD a few days before my flight and they were surprised I hadn't got this endorsed. They wrote on a page of my passport that an extension had been given. I didn't see if this was actually checked at the airport.

A little off-putting because I don't remember reading during the online extension process that this was necessary!

Over the years I have had plenty of girls in Nbi ask for 20-30 k and even as much as 80 k. If a girl is not short of cash when you ask her price for the deed then they will quote silly amounts in the hope that some idiot pays it and yes some do.

I find there is still plenty to be had for 3, 4, 5 k.

I am not sure what the girls are asking for in the bars where the wazungu frequent these days if anyone knows please update.

It must be understood that there are different prices for muAfrica, muIndi, musungu, Turists. There is also another price for stupid tourists and this has no limit.

I don't know so much about Nairobi but when I was there a year ago, I always went to Brew Bistro, that was nice night club, both tourist and professional girls.

Living in Nairobi is more expensive than in Mombasa, so girls ask more money. I don't know what is medium prize in Nairobi.

When Nairobi girls visit Mombasa (often, for vacation)), they ask Nairobi prices or some crazy prize, and their mouth literally drop down when I tell them that I can get girls for two thousand for night. Last time I visited Diani, one Nairobi girl asked me eight thousand, next one ten thousand, and later one twenty thousand. These were all short time prizes of course.
