    Recent Nairobi visit

    Hi,

I was in Nairobi for a few days before Christmas (and the elections) and again just after the elections. Following a post by Goodenough a few months back I stayed at the Holiday Inn. I can confirm that this seems to be an incredibly girl-friendly place. There are actualy three different ways into the place for one thing but even bringing girls in via the main entrance. Or even arranging to meet them at reception was never a problem, and neither was escorting them out in the morning. At no point did anyone suggest I should pay more or ask the girls for ID, although they may have done on departure if I had not been with them. Very civilised. OK it may not be the cheapest place around but at least I did not have to fork out any extra to have friends in. There were a few girsl in the evenings hanging around in the bar attached to the Spur restaurant, at least before the elections.

I had some great fun and all without a single visit to a bar or club. I had established contact with a few girls via various chat/friendfinder sites and this proved to be very fruitful. I also had an amazing night of wild sex with a girl who had served me at a large store located in one of the malls. She was simply stunning and after we had exchanged a few smiles I asked her for her number which she gladly provided. I probably ended up paying as much as I would for a straight pick up in a club, but for some reason this sort of encounter had much more of a buzz to it.

My return was marred by the elections and a bug that laid me low but Nairobi is without doubt a place I want to get back to. I hope that they get themselves sorted out there soon. It is a fantastic country with fantastic people. Whizzkid

    Update

City Center under police patrol, as of yesterday all shops closed, few vehicles. Simmers basically empty, almost out of beer; madhouse open but practically empty. Nakumatt open under tight police control. On Mon. The road past Kenya Comfort to Annie Oakleys was blocked by a group of menacing looking boys. Don't kid yourself, it's very tense and air of criminality palpable. It was a high voter turnout in an emotionally packed election and it seems as though the incumbent lost but fraudulently took office anyway, people are very disappointed and angry. This Luo et al / Kikuyu animosity is long-standing and runs deep.

    My Nairobi Blog

Having just returned from a trip to Nairobi - being there during Xmas & erection week .... sorry - eLection week - (freudian slip) - I felt the need to put here some words after following the TV & web reports on the violence at the aftermath of the elections.

Nairobi is just a wondeful place for a geezer to get layed time after time with so little effort and for so low a price compared to other venues around the world.
My week's experiences included some ladies that I'd met via the afro site .. one I'd been chatting to for a while - and she cost me a dinner - and then wonderful uninhibited sex time after time just because we had become friends. No strings attached - sex for sex's sake.
(Actually it cost me a lot more cos the hotel decided to put a letter under my door saying that I should have registered her (for my safety) and that they were adding a "nominal" charge of $50 to my bill.

Another again .. took a break from work - chat on afro - 1 hour later we had a drink together and straight to my hotel room (this one cost me 500 bob to my friend the Floor Guard) [<$10] and some great uninhibited afternoon sex for a couple of hours. She left with some "taxi money" and I went back to work.

Another - a girl that was working the bar - a pro .. real sweet thing "Gift" she called herself - called me her savior - she had 100Ksh in her purse (<$2) - and if she hadn't picked anyone up - she was off to Simmers to sell a pair of shoes. She had a wonderful touch ... but was dead scared that anal sex makes you walk funny for weeks. I paid her above the norm ... but what the hell - I made her day and it was Xmas.

So our Nairobi is in turmoil right now - I got out just before the violence started - but it was in the air - with government troops & police spreading out.
Being close to the media during the elections it was so evident that they were being rigged - when a reporter phones in the tallied results - but the "officials" called in much differeing numbers - it was so evident that the change that the people in the street were after wasn't going to happen.
I just hope that things will cool down & get back to "normal" soon as I need to get back as I have so many ladies to meet who promise such wonders !

It's hard to pin down exactly what it is about Kenyan women that make them so free & good at sex ! It seems that they must have some of that "monger hormone" - because I have yet to meet one who didn't want to hit the sack! - and that's without all the usual baggage & bullshit that we encounter in Europe, US and elsewhere !

Lets' hope that Kenyans will get over this election farce - for their sakes & ours - and that 2008 will be peaceful, tranquil, healthy & prosperous for all!

    Violence

    Hi Thomasb,

In nairobi the streets are empty. Everyone stays at home the shops and clubs are closed. In the center there is only police. People are scared and worried what will happen the next days.

Right now forget about mongering in nairobi at the moment. Just pray this country goes back to peace. At this stage anything can happen.

    Happy new year

How is the situation in Nairobi? I heard it is very violent and they tell pepole to stay indoors. Has this effeft the mongering scene or is it buzniess as usually.

Well I'll be damned if I don't like a challenge or two. Mamasan or not I'll be sampling some of these sooner than soonest. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. I don't have to travel to asia.

    Viagra etc.

Like virtually all other prescription drugs, they are available without prescription from any drugstore (or "Chemist" as they are called in Kenya).

Viagra is typically sold for 3, 200 to 3, 800 per 4pak, but beware of fakes! There are lots of them and they are sometimes difficult to spot. You might be better off asking for a knock-off yourself.

I always use VEGA Made in India and find it as effective as the real thing. It goes for 1, 000 per pack. Make sure you get the 100mg version and not the 50mg, sold at the same price!

I usually bite off roughly half a tablet and keep the other half for another day. Beware as well of buying single pills in cut-up foil. You don't know where they are coming from even though the clerk pulls them out of a regular Viagra retail pack! CIALIS is about twice the cost and there are no generic sustitutes being sold (which doesn't mean there are no fakes in the market)

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Barri,

There is no danger as long as you watch your glass. Anyway. Like I mentioned earlier. The security in Nairobi has really improved. Only be careful when moving out of the main town. Areas like Ngara, Zimmermann, Dandora, Kayole, Rongai, Thika, Kiambu, Satelite, Jogoo Road might be dangerous for carjacking and should be avoided after nightfall. Town Center and surrounding districts are more or less quite safe. Still avoid dark streets at night when you work. I recently walked around Central Business District from Koinange to Moi Avenue and there was nothing of a threat, but I am like a local after more than 5 years of living here.

The Ngong Hills Hotel and Forest Lodge are very safe, but don't walk on Ngong Road after 7 pm you might encounter some bad dudes, my office is just 200m from there and my secretary was mugged some weeks back.

    Wish you a nice time

And merry X-Mas and a happy new Year to all here on the board

Thanks Nairob for this info. Good to learn about a "new" place. I prefer the low end/rough places, and this sounds like one. Hope to be able to try it out before New Year. However, is it safe to go there alone if you take normal precautions? In your first post you issued a warning about the bars in Hurlingham.

Also thanks for the tip on perfumes. Probably better than ear-rings and stuff.

When I protested "I can't beieve you are saying this (in front of a rather sexy receptionist), got a broad smile and told "This is Mombasa". They are just being discreet until they see you face to face....
Hi Kampala, which hotel in Mombasa would that be? What did you pay? I'm going there for New Year and haven't booked anything yet.

BTW, I wasn't sure where to post this question, but maybe it is better to post the response in the Mombasa thread.

    Cheers,

Any chemist or pharmacy. As with all drugs no prescription needed. Cialis about 1800KES for 2 tablets if my memory is correct. It's so expensive that I get the guy behind the counter to throw in a couple of condoms for free (like a bit of a discount)...

    Indians in Nairobi

The only way I've managed to get anything "Indian" is via the Mamasan network that operates in Nairobi and Mombasa. However I use the term "Indian" loosely- these are usually a mix of Arab and Indian (sometimes more).

Girls are typically very business-like and not much fun. No LT, very short ST (one shot). BJ of any kind not entertained. GFE? Ha! Don't be silly. On the plus side the hygiene and manners are usually very good. Prices for these girls vary from 5-6k plus 1-2k for the Mamasan.

I don't usually keep any phone numbers for the Mamasan's but you can spot them quite easily in the high end clubs like Pavement and Undecided in Nairobi and Pirates in Mombasa. Usually overly made-up, overweight, indian-looking girls in gaudy clothes. Their prime customers seem to be the affluent young Indian (and African) boys who frequent these joints. They usually don't come to the Floridas unless the other clubs are dead or they're not looking for customers, just cheap booze and good music...

I personally try to stay away from them as it's a bit of a rip off and unless you value the novelty of the act of sleeping with an "Indian" above all else you're seriously wasting time and money.

This is not to say you won't find some good ones. Rare, though. I've had better experiences in Mombasa, as sex seems to the biggest business there so there's more competition, variety etc etc.

Anyhow once you've been with the girl you can take her cell number and call her directly, cutting out the "middlewoman" and hassle. Once again this is not something that I bother with as these girls have really perfected the art of sucking all the money out of a man's pockets without even touching him.

Usually when I need a change from the usual "black beauties" and am not feeling brave enough for a Somali (probably the craziest race on the planet), I look for Ethiopians or the the Madhouse Arabs like the famous-Mona. Indian-esque with better service (and price)...

And don't even think about those pretty young Indian girls you see gyrating away on the dance floor in the some of the better clubs. They won't give you the time of day let alone their pussies!

Anyhow hope you have better luck than me!

    Happy hunting!

Btw how are the indian ladies in Nairobi/Mombasa?
