What is the name of the short time hotel around the corner form Ctral Park hotel. You said 700. Can't find it.
Is it on Latema Road
Just confirming that it's on Mfangano. The name is Hotel Orchard; next to Tuskys. BTW, there are many of these 'kind' of hotels in the immediate area, but this one just happened to be convenient to the Central park where I was staying. Looks like hell outside, but much better inside than say the likes of the Terminal Hotel.

I think the Chinese dudes here are the real suckers, and that is what I observed at Madhouse one night. If you are Chinese, don't take it personal as some of my best friends from college were Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Indian (the dot type). Yeah I know I am not PC.
I prefer to find someone I get on with, and then it's really just the cost of drinks. And maybe the cab in the morning.
The most I ever paid was someone I picked up in the bar from the Serena hotel. But when they look like (and are dressed like) a super model, with nice teeth, nice hair, nice smelling. And great in bed. Who cares?
My fear with the cheap ones is that they are low cost but high volume. Which I feel is a more risky session.

If you say so!
I blame being on per diems. Ultimately as long as I feel I'm getting value for money, I'm happy.

Trying to decide between these two for my first visit to Africa next month. Is it worth paying about $25 / night extra to be next door to Madhouse? At NOA, are taxis available 24/7 and how long does it take to get to the center considering the notorious Nairobi traffic? Does either place have in-room safes?
Recommendations welcome!
I have been staying at Chester House for quite a few years now with no complaints. Anything you can possibly need is within walking distance no need for taxi. The rooms are always nice and clean, good internet and the staff is always helpful. Never had a problem bringing a lady in with me as long as she had an I'd. They have several different rooms types I normally get the deluxe and I think its around $100 per night.

Chester House does have a small safe in the wardrobe but you need to bring your own padlock (a small one).

That's $100 for two girls including the temporary hotel costs. Not that bad!
Anyway, as soon as this damn rain stops I'm heading out. Pangos for a warmup, then probably BlackDiamond. Then if still empty hand-handed over to Madhouse.
Too much choice! And this is my last Friday.

I am a regular visitor. But on occasion I'm happy to pay higher if they are worth it. Not trying to drive up prices in Naiobi. But I'm also aware that for me $100 doesn't make a huge difference, but for them it does. Not saying I'm the Gates Foundation or anything!
