2 questions: Is Christmas time decent or dead (week before to week after)?

More importantly: I enjoy a good cigar with my drink (s). Can I smoke a cigar in the local bars or will I be asked to leave?

Christmas is a little more quiet than normal in Nairobi as a lot of locals go on holiday to coast or back to their home villages for the holiday period. Still plenty of women around though.

6000 ksh is 2 weeks salary in Kenya. This amount is only for french-fish tourist in Kenya. For regular visitors 1000 ksh ST end 2000 ksh full night. Local Kenya man pay from 200 ksh to 500 ksh (ST) Full night. Kenya man never doing this.

I concur. And never give foreign currency. By overpaying this place becomes spoiled. Only the pussy abundance prevents this place from going down the drain. If overpaying gulf Arabs discover that place. Than its game over. Like Morocco.
