Spent 2 days in NBO on my way back home from MSA and used both afternoons to explore the mongering opportunities in the city:

There are lots of them, advertising door fees between 500 and 1, 500. Visited a few in Westlands/Lavington/Hurlingham and ended up walking out of most of them with blue balls. Only the one at Yaya Center rated as a repeat. Extras have to be negotiated with the girl; they seem to expect 2-3, 000 as a minimum, I. E. Poor value overall.

Nice location and the seedy hotel next door looks promissing, but there were no girls visible either day (between 3 and 5 pm) and the only patrons in the place were what seemed retired "empire builders". The bar man said that things get only going after 6. 30 or so.

The place was hopping both afternoons, except that the talent wasn't to my liking: very few 6's and up, but lots of 5's and under.

I hope, for the sake of all NBO Johns, that things are better at night.

Forest, enquiring mongerers want to know:

Was your room in the main building.- and thus you had to walk by the reception desk (and taking a chance that one day/night a desk clerk will ask you about your "guest").

Yes, it was in the main building. I generally returned around midnight-1am. The guards paid me no attention whatsoever, and the girl at the front desk stayed in the office. I was never confronted on five consecutive nights.

Or. Was your room in the new section, back where the pool is, the area which you get to by walking along a path along side the main building, thus never having to pass by the reception desk at all?

I haven't stayed at Fairview in nearly 5 years, so I'm looking for details.

I refuse to stay in any hotel in Kenya--if I'm paying--that's over 100 USD, unless the Kenya Schilling becomes stronger than the US Dollar, or Hell freezes over.

That would have been easier yet, because all one would have to do is say you wanted to sit by the pool with the girl and drink a beer. Once in the hotel, the girl would have had free access to any section she wanted. There really is no security there once you are past the front desk. But, as I said, I was in the main section of the hotel and encountered no resistance whatsoever. I do not know if this was the hotel's formal policy or I just got lucky.

By the way, the first night I asked the security guard for assistance before I left the hotel. He told me he would personally escort the young lady to my room after I arrived (so we could both go to the room separately). When I got back from Florida2000, the guard I spoke to was not around, so we just walked up to my room. I am certain that if you are uncertain, asking a guard for assistance would be an inexpensive alternative.

While I appreciate your view about the costs of hotels, there is really not a lot here on girl-friendly alternatives. I posted this almost entirely because I knew that many members would like to know that at least one reasonably priced (although not inexpensive) girl friendly hotel exists in Nairobi.

Remember, for the initiate, its hard to get everything right the first time (the right lodging, the right food, the best bars, the best place to meet "non pros", etc). In five nights, I fucked 4 different girls. All were GFE and did everything I asked of them. None of them cost me more than 3000 shillings for the entire night including taxi, pizza and wine. All but one wanted to have my baby, so the "surcharge" related to the weak dollar was OK with me because I was a satisfied customer.

There is a new Israeli embassy being built out of town. Until then, of course, the Israelis are a target. The hotel is pretty far from the street. Even the front is far the the embassy, and I was more or less in the middle. And, the street probably has the best security in Nairobi.

However, let them try to rip us off - no problem as long as we decline to enter into such ridiculous deals! IMHO it's simply amazing that a number of African girls do not feel ashamed to ask seriously for such big money.

That minimum price MASAGE is 600s /1h. Than evry handling sexuel you want, you must make appointment with girl from your servis. It can go up to 5000/1h. This system is the most expensif in Nairobi. Difficult to find right places in this city end taxidrivers smelling money. I was go with girlfriend of my. 2 in one room only tarif 600s. But the girls was giving al information for this type of things. The high prices have to do with renting prices from this appartments. For normal mongering, better Florida, Simmens End if urgent. Let me add my kudos to those already posted by Hesekiels. A truly great post! And it got me to thinking of my various (mis) adventures throughout the world. The problem is that most of mine have been in SE Asia, so it wouldn't be appropriate to post them here. I guess with a hobby like ours you're forced to take the bad with the good. Unfortunately for me, I read your post about the revolting pussy odor just as I was about to eat breakfast. Now, for some reason, the sight of the food is nauseating. Think I'll skip breakfast for the day.

Some wonderful person (s) did a lot of work on this, as it shows almost all hotels in and around Nairobi.- (It doesn't list my favorite hotel, which I will not share. Sorry! It's not girl-friendly anyway).- together with USD and KSh prices, single/double rates, divided into (under 20 USD)/(20-100 USD)/(over 100 USD).

I just wish they maintained a column for "Girl-Friendly? "

The list was last updated in October 2006, so the price may be a bit off. Also consider that Kenyan Shilling fluctuates. A lot. And a few hotels may no longer exist.

My hope is that we can somehow keep the spreadsheet updated, and have a Report filed for each year.
