FINALLY, back in NBO. Sorry C'house raised its prices. Don't know, Transit sounds like a dump. Stayed in Central Park Hotel in Sheikh Karume. Will stay there again. 3000 ksh for double. Girlfriendly. If you like a cheap dump try High Rise Apt. On Moi Ave 1400 ksh opposite F2K.

It is truly sad. Although I am a monger, I do care about the ladies who I met, even if just for one night. As soon as I heard about this, I contacted all of my friends (did not realize I had contacted so many!). All are safe and stayed in Saturday night. I would imagine many of the clubs were emptier than usual and I don't blame them one bit. My black ass would have just called up one of my girlfriends and we would have kept each other warm and safe.

I also imagine some people are reconsidering their future travel plans to Kenya. Although I do not want to die before my natural time, I can honestly say I have no fear of sissy tailed terrorists. If I find myself face to face with such scum, he had better hope his gun does not jam up or he will be going to meet Allah and however many snaggle tooth virgins then and there. And if the terrorist is a female, then my beat down would be of the equal opportunity type. This is from a guy who is not violent at all but believes wholeheartedly in self defense. I guess serving a tour of duty in Iraq did change me, and even though I did not see combat, I always had to be prepared for the unexpected, including the mentally and psychologically taxing mortar attacks that occurred on a regular basis.

Gun free zones make law abiding citizens sitting ducks.

Actually not even that much. I made a deal with a new hotel in PTY for about 50 / night that makes NBO look like Detroit. Sorry, but if this next trip is as good or better.
