I prefereer more the direction Kiserian Ongata Rongai and now from Karen direction Ngong in Juanco is a new hotel- nightclub the name is Nest. That is my hunting area or I go to Dagoretti- Kikuyu.

For an educated worker, possibly with a Bachelors Degree your looking at a salary range of 75, 000-100, 00 Shillings per month. The young lady at Tusky's taking your money is somewhere between 30, 000-40, 000 Shillings.

You have absolutely no clue about Kenyan wages. I have employed people and highly educated people can work for less than 20 000. Be it a pharmacist etc.

The young lady at Tuskey's, at a guess, is at most making 15 000.

I pay my maid 8 000 a month, and she comes 5 times a week. She is extremely happy with what I pay, and she can do another job on the side. She has kids and a home

Every body in Nairobi know that Simmers is a rip off place. The locals who are there are most well known by the waiters and pay the normal price.

But when you going round in whole Kenya a muzungu paid always more special when you are unknown in the area.

A waiter must do it the salary what he get is to low for living and he need the tip for his live, that he can send some girls to your table when I see that you look for on.

Everything is for survival here in Kenya and when you want to do it on the low cost way do not go to the center but go to the urban side like Karibangi. Onagata Rongai. Kikuyu or trip to Naivasha. Muranga. Kitengela. Also there are hotels and you can have a good adventure.

But remember every thing has a price but in the big cities you pay always more for food and service.

My best experience is in the semi rural area's good food, cheap hotels. Nice girls and low cost.

To pay the managers every day 500ksh. To working there.

I agree with you Willyboy, simmers has bad reputaion for cheating it's customers, you really got to watch your bill, best buy your own drinks at the counter, they inflate the price of food for foreigners as well, I have seen quite a few customers challenging their bills, they seem to have monopoly in that area

I was testing many adresses from this website. Not every photo is original. Somethimes yes. The asking price is 1000ksh for massage. 1500ksh all in. This for 1h. I was visit Care Gasthouse end Barkley hotel. But I giving advice. Not to visit. Not confort in the rooms. This are hotel rooms for around 2000ksh / night. I invited one girl from website in my hotel for 1500ksh. (1h) It was not bad.
