I walked away from some chick at madhouse who wanted 150usd. Given the fact that she let me walk away means she's getting it.
So are you saying the beach resort Mombasa is cheaper then the town of Nairobi?
When you where in Nairobi did you find any better deals then 150 USD.

In westland they are 4 to 5 clubs on walking distance and the area is safe. In town you should always go in taxis.
In westlands where do you pick the non pros up from.
When you say non pross do you mena students after some extra cash? Do you find them on the streets? And how old are these girls?
The clubs in westlands how much do they charge for ST and LT and are there any young ones?
Where is Town?

The minimum most posters here regard as acceptable for short time: between 500-1000.
The minimum for long time: 1000-1500.
I had many for free and never had a complaint when I offered 1000. (This is 25 + encounters between Nairobi and Mombasa).
The only girl I did LT with was free. We seemed to really enjoy each others' company.
Thanks.

IF you read the forum, there is lot of information about prices and location. Kenya is best destinantion to find P4P in East Africa.

Indeed an interesting point of view! However, I wish you all the best and particularly good luck!

Looking forward to your report jiddydus!
Thanks guys for replying and your input. Norweez, Kipepeo quoted me 65USD per night for a double room.
There is a $40 difference between there and a hotel right in the middle of the CBD ie. Chester house.
All things considered, I think I will pay the extra on this my first trip and stay in the central location where everything.
I want is within short walking distance.
Cheers.

The latest price info I have for Kipepeo is 4, 000ksh for a double room which dates back to several months ago. Bear in mind that inflation has risen over the past several months and certain hotels have tacked on an additional surcharge like Kahama in Bamburi / Mombasa. Not sure if Kipepeo has done the same. Additionally, others have slightly raised their rate, so the case could be either of these two scenarios.

I think as long as someone has "street sense" and good situational awareness, they should be fine without being paranoid. By that I mean that I never come in close vicinity to any group of guys at night and always keep a 360 degree awareness. I walk closer to the roadway and away from any alleys and inset store fronts. I have not experienced any problems walking along Kenyatta, Tom Mboya, Moi Ave, Latema Road, any of the side streets between Hotel Green Court and Central Park Hotel, or the area around the Nukamatt, Madhouse, etc. The only annoyances are the women who come begging as you pass Simmers, but I never reach into my pocket to give them anything since I know that can set me up for getting mugged later by anyone watching. Basically, I make myself a hard target regardless of whether I take a taxi (only when in company of a female) or when walking. I do happen to know self-defense techniques but prefer to never have to use them (only had to do so once in Dakar, Senegal). Right now I am in Mombasa and I walk among the locals on the back dirt road leading to the main drag. Never have encountered any problems. As for the hotels, I guess I must have gotten one of the not so good rooms at Hotel Central Park. Sure the clientele is different as I believe Kenyan businesspeople and other organizations utilize Hotel Central Park whereas everyday Kenyans seem to frequent Green Court Hotel. As far as security goes, I prefer the open space in front of Green Court over the narrow street in front of Central Park (just google Oklahoma City bombing to know what I am talking about; plus the matatu drivers are less of a threat in that regard). Also, whenever I walk, I walk briskly and with purpose so even the few people that call out "my friend" usually have little opportunity to catch up to me unless they want to run after me (none have here in Kenya). What this means is that instead of blowing unnecessary KSH on taxi fare, I can divert it to food, drinks, and fun! Got to love Kenya! I know I do.

And what is dangerous? I've stayed in the dodgiest areas of Manila, Phnom Penh, BKK, Pattaya etc without concern.
