Posts: 140Chester House or Natural Oaks Apts?
Trying to decide between these two for my first visit to Africa next month. Is it worth paying about $25 / night extra to be next door to Madhouse? At NOA, are taxis available 24/7 and how long does it take to get to the center considering the notorious Nairobi traffic? Does either place have in-room safes?
Recommendations welcome!

Anyway, as soon as this damn rain stops I'm heading out. Pangos for a warmup, then probably BlackDiamond. Then if still empty hand-handed over to Madhouse.
Too much choice! And this is my last Friday.

What exactly are we supposed to be paying for on this site? I mean its really tempting to click the link and put my credit card details on there but just not that tempting.

In the past I've tended to pick people up at Mad-House or Black Diamond. The best was from Black Diamond, more like a girlfriend, and only wanted taxi money and drinks paid for, and kept in touch. I don't doubt that the primary attaction was because she saw a Mzungo walking ATM. But, it's always good when you click.
Most fun was probably from the Florida next to Pangos. Got two very lively girls, and (on reflection this is mad and probably risky) I was a little drunk and they recommended a nearby hotel. Which I think was $80 for the room.

Hi all,
I'm newly arived in Nairobi. I've been before, but this time am at the Fairview with work colleagues. So bringing people back not really an option.
Are there any good recomendations for massage parlours here? Applebees sounded good. But not sure I'm brave enough!
Looking for options to find a good massage place. But not being able to see before hand is a worry?
I'm guessing Madhouse / Florida 2000 still the best place to pick up girls mid-week?
