I am thinking to book it now.
My last consern is how easy to get a taxi around bar areas (such as New Florida) at night.
You know in some cities it is very difficult to find a taxi at night.
Therefore, staying in a hotel nearby the theme becomes a good option.
Can you elaborate a little bit on the taxi issues? Thanks.

Posts: 390The double lives of university students
There's a long story in the Daily Nation about "The double lives of university students"
You can read it here:
http://www.nation.co.ke/News/The+dou...4/-/index.html
It was a few minutes to 8 pm when Beth's cell phone alerted her to a text message. 'Come with eight girls. Mix them in different styles. Take a cab and let's meet in South B, ' it read.
Beth, who had been waiting with her friends for the message, was excited. They had to dress scantily, she told the young women who would soon make a short journey to the underworld where illicit sex, alcohol and rich men mix in one of Nairobi's latest fads. Etc. Etc.

Posts: 250Gypsies vs Florida Madhouse and other stuff
I`ve just returned from my first trip to Nairobi and here are my thoughts:
I visited Florida Madhouse, Florida 2000, Black Diamond and Gypsies. It would appear that the much older and more hard core hookers are at Florida Madhouse while Gypsies in Westlands is where the better looking and younger hookers hang out. So the selection is better at Gypsies but the price is most likely higher than 2, 000 Ksh since most of the mzungus seem to be well established and living in Nairobi.
I highly recommend AfroIntroductions (max 1 month) since Metrodate (free site) has mostly pros. But again if you feel out their money situation (e. G. Is someone paying for their schooling or are they working) desperation increases as the money declines. All 3 I met on Afro in the 5 days I was there were great (1 full sex but very desperate afterwards, gave her 2. 000 but she wanted `shopping`, the other 1 was struggling job wise but had USA mom paying her housing so lots of foreplay but nothing more and the last one was fully supported in school from her family so after 2 hours I got a free BBJ.
Final one on Facebook was just DATY but has promised reciprocal when I come back. She has the most money but the least looking.

Yes, democracy isn't perfect but at least in most democratic countries, not all, where there is proportional representation or at least negotiation between competing interests, the majority rules legitimately and minorities are protected from discrimination which is far superior to a dick-tatorship. And it isn't perfect since these democracies can still be hypocritical on foreign policy as you point out. It's a real joke when you hear Africans preach democracy but don't even have it or practise it themselves (e. G. Africans working at the UN or with international charities in their own country).
[QUOTE=Expat Kenya; 1168436]First, I think we're on the wrong forum here, there is a political forum here on ISG. Democracy is the suppression of a minority by a majority. Example: individuals do not decide for themselves if they wand their tax-money to be spend on bombing of Libyan citizens or not, the democratic chosen majority chooses for you that you'll be an accessory by paying tax-money. Western countries are famous in Africa for their extreme violent foreign policies. Like explained in this clip:
