Expecting a gratuity does not define a ho; most African women would be insulted unless you gave them something. Just like most Africans of any standing in life (male and female) would regard you as a Cheap Charlie if you invited them to a meal and did not offer meat. Pizza is for weenies, salads for those who want to eat grass.
Come to think of it, several years ago most embassies were in the habit of paying a gratuity to Kenyans guests if they were expected to show up at receptions.

Sure not all girls are only after money, but they're after money too, what else? The ones who generally are not after money as their main goal, those do not go out.
