I'm a coast person, but I was just talking to a friend from Nairo who was telling me about a couple of new places. I was wondering if anyone has or is interested in checking them out. The one he was raving about was called Apple Bees and the other is called Lidos. They are both downtown sort of near Roadhouse and the fire station.
Anybody been to either of them?

Can also connect you to some lady's I know, there are all "normal" Lady's many of them have jobs and would like to go out with a decent business-guy. Pack some small bottles of Perfumes from the Duty-Free and you have the perfect Gift to smoothen them a little bit.

After the my post about the upper clubs I would like to give you an alternate for a low cost night. Most people will not know Ngong Hills Hotel on Ngong Road (10 minutes from town center. Hurlingham). The fare for the taxi should not be more than 400 KES (I pay 350)!
The Hotel has a small club with a bar and a dance floor. The place looks quite nice and drinks are all around 100 KES. Because of the neighborhood of Kibera (biggest slum in Nairobi & Africa) you will find a lot of hungry young girls from there in this bar. The number varies from 10 to 60 depending on the time (best from 23:00 to 1:00) and the day (best Thursday-Saturday). Many of this girls are real amateurs and you find also some refugees from Sudan (the asylum is not far from there) and if you're lucky you will get home with a nice looking 21 year old for as little as 1, 000 KES.
By the way, if you hooked up with someone in Town there is a "hotel" on the way to Parklands with the romantic name of "Forest Lodge" it is for the short business only, the rooms are clean but only few have showers. The price is an unbeatable 500 KES and the transport should not cost more than 300 KES.
That's it from me for today.

Hi,
Can anyone offer advice on buying Viagra/Cialis etc in Nairobi - where and prices? I have a few days in town just before Christmas and I always like to carry some back up these days.
Thanks in advance,

Even Mr. Hoeffner of Playboy knows that his bunnies are not hanging around him because he is a nice old chap. When you compare the opportunities here in Africa with the one you have in the western world than it is quite understandable why these girls are looking for a way out.

Hi Noddy,
Everybody knows Florida 1 (Madhouse) or 2000 (Moi Avenue) you can also add the Simmer's Joint where you will find all available pro's in Nairobi. But there are much more clubs/pubs where you can enjoy yourself. There is that new place on Mombasa Road (way to the airport) called Liquid which is surely one of the best places so far. It is a bit more expensive than the above mentioned, but what is expensive in Nairobi anyway? I used to live in London for a year where you pay 10-20 pounds entry in a good club and 5 or more pounds for a drink. Even in Liquid drinks are around 200 Shillings which is quite cheap. You will find some uptown girls there with there own money and some wannebees which are lurking for a guy to buy them a drink. Sure there are some pros there as well, but not as many as in the ordinary spots.
If you like African Music try Club Afrique next to the National Museum on Museum Hill just about 5 minutes from the Town Center. Very nice looking place with a lot of pretty "real" girls, but here you have to dance that's why a lot of them come here. Next door is another pretty place called Galileo, which is more for the yuppies of Nairobi. But it also attracts a lot of the young chicks.
Another way to have an affordable evening with some nice chicks is to go to places like BuruBuru, South B or Langata on a Saturday Afternoon look for some youngsters and make plans for the evening. That also works very well with the Nairobi University Campus and Jomo Kenyatta University but this tactics need some local knowledge and for the universities you will need a fellow student to help you.
I will give you some other spots next time.
