What's the best approach with Tinder? Do you just openly ask them for a hookup, or is there a more subtle way of doing it?

I simply say that I'm visiting for vacation and hoping to find a special lady to meet and spend time with. Once I screen out the obvious hard core P4 P sex workers and those with kids, I chat with a select few on WhatsApp. I never promise a full blown relationship, but I'll leave open the possibility. 1st let me start with I know, I know. RTFF. I have and I will go back and re-read. That said looking for some advice. I'll be there in late May, early June on a family trip. I will not have a lot of free time and I definitely will not be able to go out at night on my own, and even if by some miracle I'm able to, I won't have a place to bring anyone. Therefore I'm asking the Nairobi experts here, what are some good places that I maybe able to goto during the day if I get 2-3 hours of freedom? I'm staying initially in Hurlingham, then in Village Market and finally most likely Garden City. I had some small success near Hurlingham at a massage place previously. I also was able to just get a BJ at a massage place near Westlands once, but it seemed like I got good mileage there and it wasn't a common thing. Both places I just happened to walk by and then at a later time went back and went in.

If any one has specific day time recommendations please help a fellow monger out.

What would be my success of talking to random women at the mall between the ages of 25 too 45 and progressing to drinks / dinner and fun back at my hotel? You will probably find some success talking to women, from my experience, but it won't just be super easy. Not sure what your experiences are, but having been to a few mongering destinations, like in Colombia, chicks are pretty willing to fuck off the rip, they know you want them and most of the ones in the gringo areas are there for that. Kenya is definitely more subtle, unless you are at bar/nightclub where westerners hang on as do pros then it's similar. From what I've read Tinder will be much easier. The people who are there currently for mongering purposes should be able to give you good advice. I've been 5 times to Nairobi, but only had a few experiences. Good luck!!

HOWEVER, the wifi sucks.

Can someone recommend a hotel with excellent wifi that is girl friendly? I really hate struggling with emails and not being able to easily access web sites.

Hi all. The girls that came to my room, all from Tinder, were allowed in for free after registration at the front desk. Sometimes they didn't even bother with the registration, especially if it was earlier in the evening. My booking was for 2 people anyway. And it may help that I'm VIP status in Radisson Rewards, equivalent to the former Platinum status. But I have a feeling it's the same for everybody.

The hotel is in a great location. Short ride to Westlands. The tollway entrance is fairly close, so rides to and from the airport don't take long.

The Arboretum, a tree park that appears to be a former colonial estate, is a great place for a run or a power walk, especially in the cool Nairobi climate. The area is secure and quiet, but not far from action. The bar, restaurant, and pool here seem to attract groups or pairs of probably upper middle class office girl / student types.

I use Booking.com for the first night in new locations. I move around until I find a location I want to stay then do some leg work. When booking, it varies. If booking for two is similar cost as for one, I book two. If it's significant, I either choose another booking or book for one then move quickly. Regardless, I've only been asked to pay for a guest once the morning after and it was Lambada in Mtwapa. Now, I stay at a guesthouse and I bring someone new day and night. It’s common among guests. I wouldn't worry about it.
