I'm from UK and if the FCO here have this warning for your visiting country.

"The Foreign & Commonwealth Office currently advises British nationals against all but essential international travel".

Then insurance is invalid.

I've no idea how European countries or the US do it.

I assume we are talking about travel insurance here, ie an insurance you buy for a particular trip in combination with a plane ticket or a package. I wonder whether government warnings could affect the validity of normal health insurance coverage.

If the your ministry of foreign affairs issued a travel warning for your country of destination then that usually invalidates your travel health insurance. Check with your insurer.
Going without insurance is a huge risk in my opinion...
Even if TZ for example is open for business that doesn't mean that there isn't a travel warning.

Why not do an all-nighter?

3 k for short-time. Which is like what. A few hours and 1 pop? Might as well stay in Thailand, haha.

I don't do all night as I hate anyone in my room overnight even less so sharing my bed.

Short time, usually 2 k /$20 in Mombasa, 3 k /$30 in Nairobi, for me is 30-90 mins depending on my mood and time of day, pop as many as I want.

The UK high commissioner and US ambassador have been on twitter the last few days doing little interviews for Kenya tourism offices of some type.

Saying Kenya is opening back up, it is safe to travel with the protocols they have implemented etc. You would imagine if they are doing that then the travel warnings will drop. Though in Gov the left and right arms are never coordinated.

We shall see.

International airtravel resumes from 1st of August. Travel advisory all land and air borders. That means recommendation. No travel insurance cover. But that applies anyway for 90% of the planet. As for girls flocking to Mombasa now I don't think so. No tourists now and they will not return for a long time. Except some hard core Africa mongers. like me. When the lockdown is Mombasa and Nairobi is lifted everybody will travel to the countryside to their families. At least if you have a shamba you're not starving to death like in the city slums.

Roads to Nairobi and Mombasa are now opened. So girls are starting to flow to these cities from their villages, where they have been hiding from virus.

But Kenya itself is still closed, what I have understood. Does this comment in this announcement mean Kenya borders? "he, however, extended the nationwide curfew by a further 30 days. ".

So after one month maybe borders are opening, if no further extension?

Have I understood right or somebody have better information? Mombie75 wrote that in August 1 borders would open?

Friend on mine went there recently and said the prices they ask for in Black Diamond are ridiculously inflated. He said the "real rate" is about 4-5 k for an allnighter and 2-3 k short-term. Would you agree?

SJ will be cheaper than BD I would think.

International Flights to Kenya are now allowed after August 1st. Strangely the bars are closed until Aug 7th though, though that will likely change to Aug 1st I think in the next few weeks.

Sabina Joy is not the SJ of old. It is now just a run of the mill bar in town. Still has a room / s on site I believe though for short timing. Always a handful of girls in there who seem up for it. Black Diamond still seems the most obvious place to go where you can easily grab something.

I am going to be in Kenya in September, October most likely and never went for the black type, and it is about time.

I will be in Nairobi for a few days and head down to Mombasa for two weeks or so. I have sorted out mz trip to Mombasa already, but not yet for my time in Nairobi. I know lots of you guys hook up either online or in Black Diamond. I was wondering if there are any other hard core spots to hunt a black Gazelle. I am really not too much into the online thing, as most women, in my experience, lie about their looks there (and their age of course). How about the Sabina Joy? Too dodgy, dirty?

Black Diamond is one of many clubs like that around that area any establishment with lone chicas are good.

Sabina Joy is ok for hardcores as well.
