The sample of working girls I got in Nairobi was not sufficient to make a reliable comparison as to girls' quality. Nairobi had no SWs, Kampala had some, not a lot but some. Nairobi had only one club specialising in girls for expats and that was Black Diamond's. Black Diamond had no dance floor to speak of, it had barely a handful of girls at midnight, not a single stunner on most days. On the last Saturday I was at Diamond's tables had been placed on the small dance floor to accommodate a PC birthday party. Not a big loss since the few girls at Diamonds never use the puny dance floor. The rain was blamed on certain days, the early hour on others. Midnight would be too early, two thirty am would be ok. Then what did long time with a girl mean? From 4 am to 10 am? Maybe those girls are clever, they come to the expat club after having had sex with their boyfriends, so that they can doze alongside the drunk and exhausted muzungu until 10 am in his hotel. Just trying to understand what's going on here. I've known since decades that nightlife in Africa always started late but this wasn't late, this was later and later trending to never.

Then you had restaurant-like places like K1 and Brew Bistro where a few girls embedded in a thick crowd of men (locals and expats) were eating, drinking and sometimes making a few dance moves. The male to female ratio was horrendous, was it 6 to 1, or 10 to 1, or more? It was all very well to says those ridiculously outnumbered girls were all to be had by the asking muzungu, sheer physical access to them was not even possible.

I saw no place in Nairobi like Kampala's Capitol Pub where you can find 20+ working girls on most days after midnight with few men around. No place like Kampala's Bubbles where you could see quite a few 8's or 9's shaking their butts on Thursdays or Fridays. From what I saw Nairobi had no mongering nightlife to compare it with Kampala's. I didn't see anything I could call a nightlife for mongers.

Where were the bubble asses, where the curvy gazelles? Come on guys, tell me, I am not trying to score points against anyone, but there must be reasons to travel to such a place and endure the boredom and abysmal infrastructure beyond just getting laid with any odd average girl for cheap. Getting a girl all night for 5 or 10 dollars? I'm not interested, SHOW ME THE GIRL. Very often we are not talking about the same thing when discussing prices. We are, in fact, talking at cross purposes. I don't imply that my tastes are superior, just that getting laid per se is not what I'm after. I need some quality with respect to my figure specs and with respect to what I can have elsewhere eg Thailand or Germany. SHOW ME THE GIRL. I am not rich but but I'm prepared to pay 500 USD a night for a porn star even in Africa. No interest whatsoever in paying 5 dollars or 10 dollars a night for a "nice girl".

This is not to say Kampala struck me as a monger's dream come true, far from it, it was anticlimatic like all African venues these days. But Nairobi was much worse.

Have I lost my grip on mongering? Getting too old and that kind of things, . Yeah, maybe. Maybe I am just a cranky old man longing for the good old days.

Pattaya going down alright, yeah, going down but not going down anywhere so quickly and with such a bang as these African venues if you ask me.

I stayed at Pride Inn a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure it's a Muslim hotel. No booze served there back then, but they said they will allow in the future. You would not know that to look at the place, but yeah, it is girl friendly, and amazingly average place. I don't recall a fridge or microwave, both are essentials. I would not stay there again.

Stayed a few days at La Maison Royal and at PrideInn Westlands. Both girlfriendly with double occupancy.

La Maison (65 euros) better than PrideInn (75 euros) by far.

La Maison had an elevator and its breakfast was more than ok. It advertised check-out at 1 pm on Agoda but kicked me out by 12.

PrideInn advertised check-out by 11 on Agoda but wanted me out by 10. Many types of stale bread at breakfast, omelette station not manned. Evidence of sloppy management everywhere. No one to help me carry my suitcase when left. Was it because I complained about check-out time?

Both hotels wake you up between 11:30 and 12:30 to clean your room. If you don't let them do it then, too bad. No cleaning today. I'd have thought cleaning staff cost nothing in Africa. For these operators nothing is still too much.

Last week I was in Nairobi and it was pretty nice experience. Here is the filed report:

- It was my first time in Africa, so everything was new for me which made it even more memorable experience. I booked a really sexy apartment with a nice decorated living room, a big naughty sofa that I used several times as a playground with the girls, TV, sound system, etc.

- The girls in Kenya were really good. In every meaning. Great bodies, beautiful faces, horny all the time and willing to meet the mzungu. With or without small financial compensation. And there are many girls, I mean there is a huge choice of freelancing girls that will not you leave alone for a long time. I met a photo model, a flight attendant, and office girl and a sexy student. All of them between 21 and 24 years old. Young, fresh, sexy, naughty and really enjoying my company. It was like in heaven. With some of them I spend one night, with others few nights. And during that time my phone was on fire. Tons of other black angels were writing asking me for a meeting. Some of them have never been with a mzungu and wanted to try. It was quite ridiculous how I ignored and did not answer to such an attractive or / and naughty girls but at one point you realise that you can't fuck half of Nairobi for one week.

- There is a lot of places that you can spend your day in Nairobi. Malls, modern coffee shops, tourist attractions, interesting local places. Overall it's not like the boring Kampala where I spend the next week. Nice city, I recommend it.

- I am reading your 65/75/90 USD prices that some of you have paid for a boring hotel rooms and honestly can understand why you dont use modern ways of choosing an acomodation. I paid $35 for my airbnb and it was like the presidential apartment compared to the rooms of the quoted hotels. And in the same time some of you are bargaining with the girls for $5-10 more... Don`t get it.

Overall I had great time in Nairobi and probably will come back one day to combine the usual tourist things that you can do in Kenya plus enjoying this black angels that can make you mad with there skills and attitude. And this time will visit Mombasa also.
