I spent my first night in the CBD before moving to Westlands. Oddly the CBD struck me as more affluent than Westlands with its dirt roads and cluttered market alleys. I am moving today to another Westlands hotel for the next 4 days because the one I am staying in has no more vacancies as of today. Only 4 days left in Nairobi.

#3264 as I mentioned CBD is where you find the women to try your luck with outside of the nightlife. It has worked for me for over 10 years. Just strike up a convo as they pass by or are waiting for whatever, even the girls working in the shops. I would say my success rate would be 25% and I am not a hard trier, I'm quite a lazy monger.

I have been walking from La Maison Royale to Westgate Shopping Mall and back for 5 days now. Picking my way around often water-filled potholes and through chaotic traffic is not my idea of fun and the saving on the Ueber fare is puny (150 ksh). What I wanted to put to the test was the reputation of African mongering destinations for allowing the monger to "have his pick of normal women". Let me point out the game, as always, were girls I would try to hook-up with in night-clubs, not the chubby or scrawny girl next door type. On average I crossed paths with 1. 5 interesting girls on each walk. The image I tried to convey was that of a muzungu with plenty of time and cash on his hands. I was not afraid to gaze unashamedly.

Result there was none. To the girls I was invisible. I might as well have been walking the streets in Paris or London.

What about the shopping mall? The shopping malls are deserted here and most people hanging around in them are men (not counting the shop assistants). All large shopping malls have a supermarket attached (Shopprite or Carrefour) and female customers mainly come here to shop at the supermarket. Housewives rolling full shopping baskets back to their cars in the basement are no ideal targets although some turn out to be good-looking. If shopping malls are secret places to hook-up with muzungus in Kenya, that secret is well-kept from Kenyan women.

Stayed at nairobi for few days before my flight to mada. Nothing to share about mongering because I fucked few girls which I know long time for free here. Just want reccomend use indriver taxi app instead uber or bolt its cheaper I pay for 35 kilomitres ride to airport just 1000 shilings when uber was 1500 at same time and bolt 1300. This app is good because you offering your price yourself. Plenty drivers around. At first better check the price with bolt or uber and offer less on indriver. Hope they will come mombasa also soon.

Not sure which Eastern European country you have in mind. Things have gotten worse there too. Anyway your point is valid but you should make it clear to the girls, not to us mongers. The other day a taxi drove me to a short time apartment with girls in Westlands. The pimps there wanted no less than 300 USD for taking out a girl back to the hotel long time. None were top models.

What can we expect? From what I've seen so far Black Diamond is the only real game in town. That's 15 to 25 girls at most between 11pm and 2am, in a city of several millions. Abysmal.

My problem as I write is no longer paying adequate prices. My problem is getting a girl I like to come at all to my hotel in the afternoon, instead of never being joinable, standing me up, saying she'll be there in no time and taking 4 hours. If you're willing to pick up street skanks why not hit up clubs in the CBD? There's that brothel near Accra Road but having said that they appeal to local men (thick to straight up fat) not to international dude (slim and darkskinned).

Let's face it Westlands is the former segregated area everything is over priced there. On my first trip I used to pick up at Havana Bar, and Brew Bistro, the women were stunning but even I overpaid for what I assumed where "nonpros". If your really hard up go to Westland Massage Parlors and take numbers of girls you like. Yes that will be more expensive but they'll be way less than 300 bucks.

Went cruising in the streets around my hotel in Westland with an Ueber taxi. Hardly any girls in the deserted streets. The 3 uglies we talked to didn't have any ID. More precisely, one said she had an ID but after she got into the car the driver specified she meant she had her ID at home, not on her. WTF.

As a dude who's stayed in several Airbnb's DON"T ASSUME THAT A PLACE IS NICE BASED ON THE PICTURES! I've been outside Airbnb's with my luggage because people didn't even have the room available. DO NOT STAY IN A PLACE WITH NO REVIEWS. Airbnb is an official hustle in Africa now. I'd consider a superhost only and I'd look at Booking.com especially since you can cancel.

AMEN! My first experience with ABB in Nairobi was a joke. The pics looked good, but it really was a dump. It was August winter time, but the place leaked in cold air through every hole, and I might as well have been outside. They only left me a tiny space heater. I did not know how electricity is prepaid in Kenya, and you have to keep an eye on the meter outside for the unit. Of course the fucking power went out on me, and I had to wait hours to get it recharged. Why didn't I know? Because nobody checked on me until the day I left. The so-called manager only came to gauge my level of pissivity to be prepared for my negative review. It was only like 38 bucks a night, but man, now I know why.

1. AirBNB is ok. The guard will smile when you enter with a chic. Tip him like 500 to ensure he stops the girl if she tries to take off with your belongings. LOL. Advantage of a hotel the chica has to register with her ID. They keep the ID at the reception. They phone you to ok her release.

3. Daygame in Nairobi. Shopping Malls Gyms etc. They are everywhere. Bus Stops. Just say Jambo.

Prices in Nairobi are more in the 3000 to 5000 ksh range. 1000ST in Mombasa.
