Arrived from mombasa staying at hotel metro at koinange street cheapest room here for 2 is twin room 4000 bob without breakfast I try bargain little bit for 3500 but no luck. At least this hotel not increasing prices couple of years already or more.

Walk 2 or 3 floors upstairs, this place its aint bad looking and was fully packed with local guys and have 20-30 girls inside I was suprised this time on friday around 7. 30 evening it was full. I bought tucker lite for 220 bob and sit, some girls was coming to me and asking for drinks I just told them next time. Later I saw one cute girl and invite sit with me she was k 21 years old kamba girl. I bought her a drink have some conversation and ask how much she want for short time she told me 2000 bob I offered 1 k and she quickly agree. There's a hotel where I was charged 1800 a night called the Golden Goose Hotel. The downside is that it's in a out of the way street. It's near Accra Road but it's like the Smurf Village It's easy to miss it.

The rooms where OK they even had a working elevator and decent Cable TV The other slight negative is the bathroom floor isn't quite level so there's standing water which draws mosquitos.

But you can find decent Air BnB's for the same price though not in the CBD.

Maybe it's not needed, I have been in touch with a few girls, well actually a lot and like you say Mombie most complain about cold nights but one or two have complained about the heat during the day. I will land in Nairobi but want to stay 3-4 nights in the capital before flying to Mombasa. So far Emerald seem the best option for me (I'm a newbie) as it appears to be located on a"neon distric" plus with its own night club. Hotel already confirmed some gilrfriendlyness since it's allowed to bring girls to your room unfortunately for a fee of 25 bucks. I don't know if this is a forbidden subject because I haven't seen a single post about it but is it possible to buy Cialis over the counter? In Kenya you will find almost every few hundred meters a pharmacy (or chemist, as it is called) that sells generic Viagra for 1 $ each.

Hotel Emerald in Westlands is a good choice for your first trip its low season so just pay for one or 2 nights then you can negotiate a lower price the hotel is clean and they have safes in the room and the breakfast is pretty good if you arrive on weds or thurs you can stay at k1 not as nice 3500 ksh for a single room 500 bob for a extra guest included also a free breakfast. Thurs night is regee night a very good crowd very few wg but a lot of regular girls enjoying the music. If you arrive on thurs you don't have far to stumble back to your room.

When I went there last, I got an Air Bnb in Westlands. Most places are about 10 minutes away by Uber (Brew Bistro, Westlands, K2, Liddos etc).

Was private and had all the amenities I needed. Brought girls through with no problem.

Seems I was wrong and you can't just walk in with a girl of the night to all hotels. These are the ones I read are GF alltho the people at the reception may ask for a fee.

Hotels can ask silly prices for the poor quality you get. I used to use Hotel central park or hotel metro in town for 4 k a night but the last few years I have used airbnb. Airbnb is the way to go IMO.

Emerald seems neat and even better if it's close to the action. I understand if you book double occupancy and you go in with "your" girl it's OK. Or is it like in mombasa? Some are girlfriendly and some are not. A girl I was going to meet said she needed an "invite" so that got me thinking. Will check out central park and metro. Thanks for the information.
