Yes it is New Big Tree Resort, it is same place. There is bar that is popular in the afternoon / evening until sunset. Cheers is a bar on a walking distance from there, on beginning of small road that goes to Big Tree. Look from Google maps.

Cheers is not far from Whitesands, it is on the main road opposite Bamburi Police Station.
