I've booked a place at most locations but with the ability to cancel up to 1-2 days before.
Have you ever been at Villa Bavaria?
That's one of the 2 bookings I did in Mtwapa along with "Mombasa apartments".
Tried to stay pretty close to Postal road.
Yeah that weekend excursion with 1-2 nights in Diani is one of the things I'm thinking about especially on my bday.
Yeah I'm pretty flexible and can change if really needed, but also I can try to make the most of the situation.
Yeah heard that Luo girls are kinda crazy. And for me planning in Kisumu also is because I read some stuff from Neddy.
But yeah my reports will come in from the moment I have a free hand when I'm down there.
And thanks again, your experienced advice is most welcome.

I don't know if restrictions are gone next year but corona at least is still there, or more of it since nobody gets vaccinated.
You can stay in Mwtapa two weeks and during that make a one night or two night trip to Diani, that is very common, on weekend there is more action. Less restrictions there. You can do even daily trip, some people do that also. Using matatu to go there is relatively simple, even taxi is not so expensive.
Many people like Mwtapa town, then again many people don't. I started to stay there during corona time, and I started to like it. But if there would be no restrictions I would maybe stay again in Bamburi beach and visit Mwtapa just by evening / night to pick a girl.
I don't know so much about Kisumu except many (most?) of my girls are coming from there, luo ladies, tall and slim.
Better keep your plans flexible in case you don't like some place. It is more expensive of course if you haven't paid everything beforehand. And little bit stressful.

And the reason that I haven't written any reports about Thailand is that I didn't even know about this forum when I was there and it feels quite silly to write reports years past.
I have some sense now about how / where I'm going to Kenya now.
Going to start with 6 nights in Nairobi then take the train down to Mombasa and then stay in Mtwapa for de first 2 weeks or so then go down to Cowrie in Bamburi and from there I got interested in going to Kisumu and then back to Nairobi.
Going to stay around 7-8 weeks and ATM I've fixed everything except the visa and plane tickets.
Oh and about restrictions so my hope is that it will be gone when I go next year.

And there are no restrictions for night life, or at least police is not as hard there like in for example Mwtapa.
I like to visit there for a weekend, then I get bored because it is quite small place after all, always same people everywhere.
You can go there first and then move to Nyali, and then visit Mwtapa.
If you really travel to Kenya, you could write some kind of report of your experiments. You haven't written any reports of Thailand for example, just questions about your possible travel destinations.

Now you want to stay forever? No problem extend your visa for more 3 month at the immigration. You want more months? Well no need to fly out of Kenya just go to the owner of the German bakery he know agents give your passport as they send it to the airport immigration they will stamp it as it look like you left Kenya and came back. This is cheaper option then resident visa everyone in the Wellfit Bakery know that.
When I took a taxi to the airport leaving Mombasa I saw the police in the entrance of the airport shouting to the driver "Gift" the driver told me if he refuse they will raid on his car looking for any deficiencies.
Also one of the police in the airport open my bag desperately looking for nylon bags, even the smallest one. I enjoyed the process when he find shit. Greeting from Colombia.

So at Nairobi airport my next destination was Dubai when they do not care if I vacasineted or not all the wanted is my PCR test which I had to show twice, one in Nairobi when boarding and when I landed. In my cases since Nairobi considered as high risk we had to do another test in Dubi airport in a fully automated machine and no need to wait to the results.
Now, if you go to Europe I think no PCR need to exit Kenya if you hold European passport. If you are Kenyan I bet you must do it. All this risk assessment is based on what passport you have and not where you came from.

With full vaccination it was ok for entry, provided you have done the visa online, and the qrcode as required.
For exit, I was asked for PCR test by a security guy before entry to airport, but when I just say full vaccination, it authorized me for entry.
Then inside each control asked for PCR test and I just say again vaccinated and was ok. One of the inside controls ask to see the proof of vaccination and I showed my French application showing a qrcode saying 2 D, meaning 2 doses I guess. And was also ok.

Somewhere else it was written on entering Kenya a PCR test is not required in case of full vaccination. Maybe this is also true for leaving Kenya, but I am not sure.
BTW no one on the airport controlled my PCR test when I left Kenya this March.

Unfortunately nowadays internet via Telkom sim-card is sometimes terribly slow and coverage is not available everywhere, especially at some beach areas.
I think the slow internet is the case when many people are using Telkom at the same time. Sometimes I have to switch over to Safaricom, which performs better, but is more expensive.

Go to the shop, they install
It for you. There is a complication as you have to convert the phone air time into data air time. I give them a small tip of max. 100 KSh.
